eu am dezinstalat Avira, sa nu am mai multi antivirusi pe sistem si dupa ce am instalat si bitdefenderul nu-mi mai merge internet explorerul si nici msn mesengerul . cred ca am pus de un reinstal de sistem.

[2008/05/23] - BitDefender Total Security 2009 Beta 1 - Known issues
Modules that are still in progress (to be delivered in the following beta kits):
? Online backup for Windows x64 systems
? Vulnerability scanning
? Registry control
? Wizard to create new AntiMalware scan tasks from basic view
? Integrated online support wizard
? Activity tab in the firewall module
? Parental ? Time limiter
? History events for several modules

Known issues:
? Sometimes, on Windows Vista, BitDefender Registration Wizard starts after system restart even after the product has been registered and activated.
? Monitoring components status (from basic view):
- The "Stealth mode is disabled" issue can't be fixed (by default this issue is not monitored)
- The ?Fix? button doesn't work on Parental Control related issues
? Settings:
- The Basic Settings do not work for firewall and antispam issues
? Functions:
- Rarely, if "scan http traffic" is enabled and the user has an older version of Yahoo Messenger cannot connect on port 80 (http traffic is disabled by default)
- Identity rule does not detect target strings in the body of the e-mail
- The BitDefender User Interface can only be opened for 1 user at a time (when switching users).
- Parental Control Heuristic filter set on the Child profile blocks all http traffic (this filter is disabled by default).
- Game Mode is not enabled automatically when detecting a known game.
- Parental Control Alert for blocked applications is not displayed (however, the application is blocked)
- The button "BitDefender Antispam" from Microsoft Outlook Express Antispam toolbar does not open the BitDefender User Interface
- On Windows Vista x86 & x64 systems, the computers in a HM network appear offline (workaround: start BitDefender with the "run as admin" option from the contextual menu)
- After mounting a file vault, if you switch user, the mounted vault is visible to the other user.

Possible performance issues:
? Svchost/thunderbird takes the CPU to 75-100% when receiving emails with thunderbird
? When BitDefender Behavioral Antivirus is enabled (from Advanced>Antivirus>Scanner Settings) some systems might be slowed down. If you experience this type of slowdown, please disable it and restart your computer.

These issues reffer to the Firewall module. They were omitted from the first list and will be added to the BETA site as soon as possible.

Components that are still in progress (to be delivered in the following beta kits):
- Monitor Changes in Programs that match Firewall Rules
- Enable wireless Notifications
- Block Port Scans
- Whitelist for Bitdefender and Windows processes (In progress)
- In the Firewall - Summary tab some statistics are not yet implemented

Known issues:
- Sometimes, when checkin/unchecking the above Firewall options, a message box may appear displaying "Can't communicate with the Bitdefender Virus Shield Service".
- Due to the lack of Whitelisting, if you put the Default Action Slider to Report, Firewall alerts will appear requesting acces for Bitdefender or Windows processes.
- Enabling/Disabling the Firewall and Stealth from the Basic Settings window does not work. (Stealth itself does work. Can be managed from Firewall - Settings - Network Configuration )

Asa cum a fost si 2008 la timpul lui

Lanseaza astia de la Bitdefender (Softwin) la Bitdefendere fara numar   .  
Nici nu ne-am obisnuit bine cu 2008 si gata 2009 .

In primul rand, BitDefender nu mai apartine de Softwin, ci e firma independenta

In al doilea rand, nu ti se pare logic sa apara BD2009, daca se apropie 2009? Stiu, nici eu nu-s de acord cu tipul asta de marketing (o versiune noua pe an), dar daca se numeste 2009, atunci trebuie lansat pentru 2009.

Campania BETA va dura cel putin o luna. Insa anul trecut s-a prelungit campania la doua luni, si e posibil sa se intample si acum aclasi lucru. Totul depinde de evolutia lucrurilor.

- Antiphshing protection does not work for Firefox on 64 bit systems
- In some situations the BitDefender Security center may be displayed incorectly. The workaround is to close the Security Center and then double click the systray icon
- Yahoo Messenger crashes on login when script control and game mode are enabled
- Windows Live Messenger encryption on 64 bit system may behave abnormaly in some situations

[2008/07/08] - BitDefender Total Security 2009 Beta 3 - Known issues
New modules that have been included in beta 3:

Known issues:
? Pppoe connections and ICS are not filtered by the BitDefender Firewall
? Yahoo! Messenger crashes on login when script control and game mode are enabled
? BitDefender button is not displayed in the Windows Live Messenger windows on x64b systems
? Rarely Yahoo! Messenger and Windows Live Messenger may crash on exit.
? BitDefender Security Center may crash during a product update.
? On Windows Vista SP1 (x86 & x64), the local computer appears offline in the Network Map tree.
? Sometimes the registration wizard freezes during a product update (workaround click ?cancel? in the registration wizard).
? Time Limiter does block the internet traffic in the specified time interval
