Are you interested in the economic consequences of legal rules and decisions? Do you want to solve complex problems using both economic and legal reasoning? If that's the case, the International Master's programme in Law and Economics may be an excellent option for you. Corporations, government institutions and non-profit organisations are continuously confronted with legal questions containing an obvious economic component. In daily professional practice the traditional academic distinction between the fields of law and economics has evaporated and there is a growing need for lawyers who are specialised in both disciplines. This Master's programme offers insight into the economic foundations and economic effects of the main areas of law. The programme also includes economic analyses of specialised legal disciplines such as company law, competition law, contract law and the law of international economic relations. This Master's programme is officially registered under the name Law and Economics (code 60742). You will need to use this name and code when you apply for this programme. Law and Economics Tuition fees Tuition fees for students from an EEA (European Economic Area) country for 2007-2008 are 1,538 euro. For students from non-EEA countries, the tuition fee for this programme for the 2007-2008 academic year is 8,500 euro. he programme is open to applicants holding a: * Bachelor's degree in law, or * Bachelor's degree in economics & law, or * University College Bachelor's degree including at least six law courses. A good knowledge of English is required. Check the precise requirements regarding your proficiency in English. Proficiency in English The Master’s programmes mentioned on this website are taught in English. If your first language is English and/or if you have a university degree in English Literature, you will be exempt from providing an English language test score. You are considered to be a native speaker of English if you are from Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, Singapore, UK, USA or South Africa and the language in which you gained all your qualifications was English. Applicants who have completed three years of study at a Dutch university are considered to be proficient in English and do not need to provide an English language test score. All other applicants, including applicants who hold a Dutch HBO diploma (diploma of higher professional education), must provide proof of proficiency in English. To do so, you are required to take one of the following English language tests: * IELTS (International English Language Testing System) This is the test preferred by Utrecht University. Applicants must have achieved an overall test score of at least 6.5 (at least 6 for the Writing module). * TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) Applicants must have achieved a test score of at least 580 for the paper test, 237 for the computer test or 93 for the internet test. * Cambridge EFL examinations Applicants with the Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English must have obtained at least a B grade. Masterul se numese Advanced English Studies - Literature and Culture.

Eu nu am medie foarte mare in facultate.
