Mobile Tracking System 1.13 released:

- added support for displaying the date when the current cell was originally added or the date when it was last edited (Options - Edit Location - Options - Get Cell Information)
- fixed the not remembering "sound on communication failure" checkbox in Options - Settings - Alerts
- instead of GPS coordinates, now MTS will display the fix status and speed if a GPS receiver is connected
- the default path of the MTS folder can now be changed from \Storage Card\Program Files\ to anything else (such as \Mounted Volume\Program Files\) by manually editing the value of this registry key - HKEY_CURRENT_USER/MTS/mtsfolder
- changed the welcome message and Options - Tools - About

Mobile Tracking System 1.14 released:

- greatly improuved the messaging feature. Now you can browse, view, reply and find users that sent you messages
- now you can enable GPS Sound Speed feature - Options - GPS Functions - GPS Speed Sound and MTS will speak to you your current speed. For this feature to work you need Star Time installed - http://www.fighterso...rtime/index.htm

Finally it's here - the MTS messaging module. Until now, the messages received were viewed in an Internet Explorer window. Now everything has changed: you can browse through your messages, reply to them without manually writing down the address and find the user that sent you the message - all from this messaging module.

Another cool feature is the new GPS Speed Sound feature. This will enable MTS to actually speak to you your current speed in KPH. It is very useful when you are on a bike or when unable to watch the speed display on your car. Note that for this feature to work you have to install Star Time ( http://www.fighterso...rtime/index.htm ).

We also launched a new version of Star Remote Mail that will allow locating, tracking and satellite view display all from one simple desktop application for people without a MTS compatible device. Mobile Tracking System 1.15 released:

- added user status feature - users can now set a general status that will be shown both in the last location information and the full tracking report - for example "I am on holiday"
- added net monitor cell information feature - now you can get detailed information about all 8 cells present in the net monitor window - county, town, description, user that added it (and date) and user that edited it (and date)
- now after sending a message, the message editbox clears, so you won't have to manually delete your previous message when trying to send a new one
- fixed some interface flaws (standard version)

Nu am inteles de ce ai introdus facilitatile de e-mail via stargate server atata timp cat se poate pune pe picioare un gateway wap in no time, cu toate serviciile respective, scripturi fiind pe net garla.

In ceea ce priveste limba engleza... crede-ma as vrea si programul sa fie multilanguage, dar nu am timp si energie pentru asa ceva si ramane pe engleza. Poate in viitor voi incepe sa traduc si programul si helpul si changesurile dar momentan, cum ziceam, nu mai am energie.

In ceea ce priveste mailul, da este destul de comod prin MTS - un singur program pentru toate.

Am incercat sa decertific telefonul meu c500 si m-am impotmolit la urmatoarea faza:

" In addition to the C500 registry modifications posted above, go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Control Pannel/CellBroadcast. Here add the Broadcasting key, open it, press values (left softkey), add a DWORD string - Default, and use 2048 as value. Restart your device.

If this fails, also try to add this value in the registry: HK_LOCAL_MACHINE\Security\Policies\Policies
add new value "0000101b": dword = 1."

Ai facut un test in momentul de fata sa vezi daca merge?

Daca nu merge mergi in registrii la HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Control Pannel/CellBroadcast. Adauga cheia Broadcasting, deschide-o, apasa pe Values si adauga un DWORD string - Default si pune valoarea 2048, apoi da un restart la telefon.

Daca nici acum nu merge, mergi in registrii la HK_LOCAL_MACHINE\Security\Policies\Policies si adauga o noua valoare "0000101b": dword = 1."

Un alt milestone important a fost doborat astazi prin adaugarea suportului de transfer a fisierelor. Practic acum MTS devine prima aplicatie worlwide care ofera suport de file attachement in mailuri - totul pe apn WAP. De asemenea, pe langa suportul de mesaje scurte (MTS SMS) si e-mailuri (MTS Email) acum am adaugat si MTS MMS. Este foarte usor sa trimiteti poze capturate chiar cu camera telefonului oricarui alt utilizator sau catre o adresa de mail.

Eu astept versiunea pt. Symbian. Eventual si o varianta beta. Ma ofer sa o testez si sa-mi asum riscurile. Am un N70.

Yep, voi deschide o adresa de mail in care sa accept inscrierile in programul beta al MTS for Symbian cand ma voi apropia de un release cat de cat stabil.

am un motorola mpx220 nu reushesc sa fac sa mearga aplicatzia...
bineintzeles ca am selectat mpx200 la setarea de hardware; contul
este valid(am schimbat timezone, etc.); gprs-ul merge;
ca retzea am ro vodafone...
ce sa-i mai fac...? ma pot uita intr-un log?

Timp de aproximativ o saptamana, serverul MTS va rula pe alta masina - therefore alt IP address. Noul IP al serverului este 82.76.212.178. Exista posibilitatea ca acest IP sa se schimbe la randul sau din nou, de aceea va rog verificati periodic (cand nu merge MTSul) http://www.fighterso...s/services.html

Acest server ruleaza cu capabilitatile de file upload si receive e-mail disabled. Dupa o saptamana situatia va reveni la normal - inclusiv IPul.
