Netscape 7.0 looks a lot like version 6.0, but underneath the hood, it's mostly Mozilla, which means it also performs like Mozilla. In our informal testing, Netscape displayed Web pages just as fast as Internet Explorer did. This browser keeps the best of the recent Mozilla builds, including the browser itself and the e-mail client, while adding some useful tools, such as an integrated, full-featured version of AOL Instant Messenger. Unfortunately, however, Netscape's code trails a few versions behind that of Mozilla's current preview release. For example, the Netscape preview release we tested can't reject cookies from inside an e-mail message; Mozilla just added this feature to version 1.0 RC 2.
The browser also includes two features copied from Opera: tabbed windows and a one-click search (also found in Mozilla). The tabs sit just below the menu bar and let you switch among unlimited open Web pages. One-click search allows you to select a word on any Web page and instantly launch a Web search engine to find that word. The bundled AIM version lets you log on to the ICQ network so that you can talk with ICQ pals, too. Unfortunately, you'll have to log out of one IM to access the other; there's no three-way chatting with friends from the two IM networks.

Oricum cu exceptia acestui forum eu folosesc numai Netscape pentru acces internet si client email. :oK:

IE e bun pana incepe sa se buleasca. Dupa aia e bun Netscape si Opera. Nu stiu cum, dar la mine o buna perioada de timp n-am putut sa incarc siteul Softnews cu IE si foloseam Opera. Acum merge iar.

OPERA 6.03. Nu itzidai seama decat dupa ce il instalezi.

De cand mi-am pus Opera... nici nu ma mai gandesc ca am IE pe calc... :)

O sa incerc si eu Opera, probabil ultima versiune pentru ca celelalte m-au deziluzionat!
Sper sa fie la fel de bun ca IE6.

Din punctul meu de vedere.. Opera SUCKS ! Dar asta e...mai sunt unii carora le place sa fie Beta Testeri  :D  :D  :D

Eu le folosesc pe toate patru:
Opera,
IExplorer,
Netscape 4.79
Netscape 6.02 (Mozilla)
Sunt unele site-uri care nu merg decat intr-un anumit browser.
Plus ca fac si web design si trebuie am grija sa arate bine in TOATE browserele.
Oh yeah, ar mai fi lynx ... :D

Am inceput sa folosesc Netscape 7 SI pentru forumul asta. Deocamdata merge bine...

Yupiiii, a aparut Mozilla 1.0. Sper sa-si dea seama ce monstru au creat si sa se opreasca, cat mai e timp! :-)

In alta ordine de idei, stiam ca egzista si IE pt Solaris. L-a incercat cineva? Aveam un amic care lucra pe SUN-uri si era foaaarte bucuros ca are si el un browser decent.
