Amazon, proprietarul Prime Video, cumpără studiourile MGM?

Amazon ar fi în discuții pentru a cumpăra MGM Studios cu suma de 9 miliarde de dolari, conform BBC. MGM este unul dintre cele mai renumite studiouri de la Hollywood, cu o istorie de aproape un secol. Amazon și MGM Studios au declarat pentru BBC că nu comentează zvonuri sau speculații. Zvonurile au apărut la doar câteva ore după ce gigantul telecomunicațiilor AT&T a anunțat că va fuziona WarnerMedia cu Discovery, într-un acord pentru a crea un nou gigant de streaming.
MGM Holdings, compania-mamă a studiourilor MGM, ar fi explorat posibilitatea o vânzare încă de la sfârșitul anului trecut, potrivit zvonurilor media.
Achiziționarea de către Amazon a MGM Studios ar marca un pas major pentru serviciul său de streaming Prime Video. Studiourile MGM au un catalog imens de filme și emisiuni de televiziune care acoperă ultimele zece decenii, de la Epoca de Aur a Hollywood-ului până în prezent. Compania a produs franciza filmului James Bond și seria TV The Handmaid's Tale.
Fondată în 1924, MGM (Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer) a înregistrat un succes uriaș de-a lungul anilor cu filme precum Vrăjitorul din Oz, Ben Hur și Cântând în ploaie.
Anul trecut, Amazon a cheltuit 11 miliarde de dolari pentru crearea, achiziționarea sau licențierea de conținut de televiziune și film, în creștere de la 7,8 miliarde de dolari comparativ cu anul 2019. Netflix a cheltuit anul trecut aproximativ 17 miliarde de dolari pentru conținut.

La filmul Chi-Raq (2015) subtitrarea in romana e decalata destul de mult, in engleza arata normal.

Nu e transport gratuit din amazon.de catre Romania. Costul transportului depinde de marimea si greutatea produselor pe care le comanzi...

Prime.video are titrari in romana si e 14 lei pana la sfârșitul lui iunie.

Amazon Prime merită dacă ai cum să profiți și de Prime în sine. Prime Video e doar un bonus. E foarte puțin conținut original Amazon pe Prime Video. Poate când Amazon va apare oficial în România o să mă gândesc.

Si Prime in sine ce inseamna ? Intreb ca am Prime video.

Și pe Amazon sunt producții originale care sunt foarte bune și aici doar menționez, The Expanse, The Man in The Hugh Castle, etc.
