Pornind de la ce scrie mai jos (care btw e o lectura foarte interesanta chit ca este in engleza)

I have really enjoyed reading this board especially this topic. I am also a salesman that enjoys my work, the people I work with and the customers I serve. My CSI hovers between 98.9 - 100 and my clients seem to like me. As salesmen we have all heard the bashing and many of us are amazed that other professions like real estate, home decorating, insurance, restaurants, attorneys etc. have no problem turning their customers upside down and shaking the money out of their pocket all while the customer smiles and even brags about what they paid out.
I will only speak for myself but I will bet that many good salesmen will relate to much of what I am going to say. Good salemen naturally have a nice combination of repeat customers, new friendships made from sales, one time customers, difficult but buying customers and a few really difficult customers that still buy. What you don't see if you are not a salesman are all the other people that walk in the door that do not buy. (most members of this board are "buyers" so you probably have no idea what car salemen see from day to day)

We see people trying to trade in their flood damaged, repainted formerly smashed up car and demanding $6000 over what KBB would give them if it was in perfect condition.

We see people that come in and not only treat everyone including the reception girl at the front desk like dirt, ridicule the brand telling us they can buy a Rolls Royce if they wanted, make fun of the dealership, demand only the very best of every option on the highest priced car and then find out their credit score couldn't buy them yesterday's newspaper.  (and it is always "there must be some mistake"  yea right)

We get the guy that walks in alone and is not looking for a car for himself.... he is looking for a car for his wife's cousin's friend. Yes folks this guy is the expert that is going to relay his findings to his wife to tell her cousin to tell her cousin's friend all about the car

We see the guy that comes into a luxury car showroom and throws his hands up in the air and shouts "who wants to sell a car today?"

We see the guy that comes in and says "I don't want to hear about the car or a test drive I just want numbers, just numbers, give me your best numbers, I want numbers"

We see the father that is too cheap to take his kid to an amusement park so he takes his kid to several different dealerships to test drive hot cars he will never be able to afford. (banging the gears to impress the kid)

We see the joy riders, the people that take up 4 hours on a Saturday while real buyers are waiting for a salesman and then tell us about the 9 other brands they need to take a look at before they can make their all important decision.

Or how about the guy that comes in sticker shopping and you are not even his salesman and when you are racing back to your desk to help a real customer that is waiting for you this guys gets this scared look on his face and says "I am just looking, I am not buying today, I am just looking" (like you were actually going to take time from your real customer to talk to this guy)

Yea! after I spend all day selling cars I go and walk through a grocery store pushing an empty cart for 3 hours and when the clerk asks me if I need some help I start screaming  "I am not buying today I am just looking, don't try to throw that loaf of bread into my cart I want to drive around to 7 other grocery stores, makes some calls and go on the internet and get the best price for that bread"

I'm not grocery shopping for myself I am just looking at the canned goods and produce for my friend's mother

So this is just small sample of what we see that most of you can not relate to because you are actual real life luxury/performance car buyers, none of you would act this way in a dealerhsip especially a BMW dealership. There are bad salesmen but I know a whole lot more that are good guys and just work hard and like working with people and quality cars.

I am just new to BMW sales but I sold a luxury brand before that. Some of the guys on this board will tell you that selling Luxury/high performance cars is a blast  and I am right there with them. I can't wait to get to work each morning and it has nothing to do with making money or seeing how high of gross I can make, it is all about being part of the best brand in the world. (everything else takes care of itself)

[b](I also saw a comment on another subject similar to this where a member said that the salesman should kiss the ground they walk on?????? (and people think salesmen are the arrogant jerks and a**holes? wow!  ) A good salesman that makes a fair profit on a great product while serving his customer's every need does not have to kiss the ground he or she walks on anymore than a person has to kiss the ground that their boss walks on if that person is doing a good job for his boss) think about it, if he did kiss the ground you walked on it would have to mean that he made alot of money he did not deserve... in other words "you got ripped off"

Chirurgia endoscopică a hipofizei Chirurgia endoscopică a hipofizei
