My Monitor Has Brown Lines Going Across It.

If your monitor has brown lines going across it, you need to find out whether the problem is caused by the monitor or your video card. The first step is to run a self-test on the monitor.

To run a self-test on most Samsung CRT monitors, follow these steps:
Turn off both your computer and your monitor.
Unplug the video signal cable from the back of the computer.
Turn on your monitor. If your monitor is working normally, the No Connection/Check Signal Cable figure appears.

If the Check Signal Cable figure does not appear, or if one of the small colored rectangles in the figure do not appear, you need to get your monitor serviced.

If your monitor self tests normally, but when you reconnect it you still see brown lines, the problem is probably caused by your video card, video card drivers, or computer system. To confirm this, try connecting your monitor to another computer.  If you see no brown lines, the problem is not caused by the monitor.

If your monitor fails the self test, or displays brown lines when you connect it to another computer, you need to get your monitor serviced. To arrange a service appointment, call Samsung Customer Care at 1-800-Samsung (1-800-726-7864). Have the model number and serial number of your monitor on hand when you call.

Il tii cumva langa ceva care l-ar putea magnetiza( boxe..etc)? Vezi ca are functie de demagnetizare, ai incercat?
Scoate-l din priza si lasa-l asa cam 24 de ore... sa vezi daca isi revine!
