DSM 7.2 pe HP Microserver Gen 8

Dupa "succesul rasunator" al DSM 7.1 pe HP Microserver Gen 8, avem acum episodul despre DSM 7.2

Lucrurile au evoluat masiv si procesele sunt extrem de automatizate.

Recomand sa aveti cel mai nou iLO (2.82 acum) si BIOS pentru Gen8 (din 2019).

ESC, confirmati cu F10, apoi apasati iar F9 -> RBSU

Vom folosi Arc Loader for DSM 7.x

Descarcati cea mai noua varianta de aici.

In cazul meu, am folosit arc-24.1.6.img.zip - l-am scris pe MicroSD cu Balena Etcher.

Boot de pe MicroSD si trebuie sa aflati de la router sau din iLo ce IP primeste, apoi puteti accesa configurarea pe IP

Am lasat modulele default + certificate update si am folosit real MAC address si am optat DS3622xs+ (asta aveam si pe DSM 7.1)

Dupa ce a terminat de construit loaderul, a restartat si am accesat IP-ul xpenology, am ales sa pastreze datele si l-am masat sa isi descarce singur fisierul DSM.

Dupa 10 minute restart si totul merge perfect.

Vestea buna e ca acum puteti face update la loader direct din el, apoi puteti updata DSM la orice varianta micro din gama 7.2.x
Pt a accesa direct loaderul, din ssh rulati arc.sh

Va recomand ca dupa ce efectuati upgrade, sa stergeti Active Insight

Am instalat DSM 7.2 si pe un ff vechie HP Microserver N54L.

Intructiunile sunt asemanatoare, doar ca:

1. trebuie BIOS modificat (suporta SATA 3).
Atasat BIOS modifi si original.

Dupa update BIOS -> Load Optimised Defaults, Save - Restart.

CE1 Support = Disabled
HDD SATA MODE
DATA MODE 3 Gbs
Enable Write Cache

2. Trebuie Direct boot in optiunile boot loader (imaginea atasata).
