am instalat si eu Fedora 16 xfce 64 biti iar cu aplicatia autoplus am instalat flash-ul si codecurile...se misca bine dar am o problema:
cand incerc sa ma conectez cu wvdial.....se conecteaza dar nu pot sa accesez internetul. cu network managerul merge foarte bine. care sa fie cauza? |

mumtumesc mult frate, sa te tine dumnezeu!
m-am uitat prin /etc dar nu am fila named.conf, in schimb am adaugat cele doua randuri in resolv.conf si merge. ma intreb oare, de ce wvdial nu le-a adaugat automat? |

Mii de scuze, am scris eu o idiotenie am vrut sa scriu /etc/resolv.conf
Shame on me, ma jucam cu bind intre timp si se pare ca nu sunt asa bun la multitasking. |

Cind l-am testat, am facut update la driver placa grafica nu a mai pornit. S-a blocat la boot-are. L-am sters si apus alt distro.

am patit si eu niste chestii nasoale cu Fedora 16 64. am instalat cu xfce si apoi am instalat gnome 3. merge binisor, dar cu kernelul 3.2 nu mai booteaza, se blocheaza la ecranul de login.
cu 3.3 booteaza dar mai are momente cand gnome 3 nu se incarca compet si trebuie sa dau reboot din tty. |

vad ca este activitate intensa la update pe partea de kernel. am primit trei update-uri la kernel in ultimele zile.

ok am reusit s-al instalez dar nu mai porneste merge pana la imaginea de log si pe urma imi apare o imagine si scrie ca ceva nu a mers bine si sa contactez administratorul

Instalarea e prin additional driver sau cauta pe google cum se face update prin terminal.

vad ca instalarea driverului video loveste din nou.
in alta ordine de idei....ma conectez la net prin zapp cu wvdial. desi internetul merge, pot sa instalez programe, sa fac browsing, atunci cand este vorba de update, spune ca nu a gasit conexiune. conectandu-ma prin wvdial, network managerul imi arata ca sunt deconectat. cred ca update-ul e legat cumva de network manager si de aia nu merge. |

si eu sunt pe zapp dar update-ul a mers foarte bine ( nu merge cand esti in limitare de viteza) si instalarea la mine a mers bine ca era instalat driverul video ca la imaginea de log se vedea pe rezolutie normala dar nu mai intra gdm iar acum ma chinui sa pun Fedora 14 dvd pe un stick usb si vad ca nu reusesc cred ca nu merge
