Topic DRIVERE - SONY/VAIO

Buna. Am primit si eu un laptop Sony Vaio, din Japonia modelul VGN-CR60B. Avea instalat Windows Vista in japoneza. Insa, eu nu prea ma descurc cu japoneza, asa ca am instalat Xp in engleza. Acum am o problema, nu am toate driverele.. si nu am nici un cd. Ma poate ajuta cineva sa imi spuna de unde pot lua driverele? Va multumesc

De unde pot lua si eu un Recovery CD pt Fz21m ...... ca am incercat sa bag windows`u si acuma cand il aprind zike ca sa intrerupt o operatiune si ca vrea Recovery Cd ori Media Cd ....... sau care poate sa ma ajute cum si ce trb sa fac sa ajung iar in windows

modelul este sony vaio PCG - 7L1M va rog o mana de ajutor nu am gasit niciunde driverele, macar cel de la placa de retea ca sa am net sa le poata cauta singur windowsul

variante:
1) pui un everest, afli ce componente ai si cauti pe site-urile producatorilor
2) Poti instala o placa de retea pe PCMCIA sau USB si poti accesa internetul si cauti drivere asa

Da-ti pe FREE inserati codul din imagine si download. Il puneam pe un site dar cred ca mai primeam un WARN asa ca este pe Rapidshare. Daca nu este downloadat in 90 de zile v-a fi sters.


Pentru sunet parca este SigmaTel STAC9872AK dar inca nu l-am gasit.

Pt VGN-FZ11E are cineva driverele pt XP???

si eu am un vgn-nr11s si am trecut de la wista in germana la xp , problema cu driverele in principiu am rezolvat-o, mai imi ramane modemul, care nu e asa de important si card readerul.
Ca si propunere pt cei care nu reusesc nicicum sa gaseasca drivere, deoarece pe site-ul de la sony vaio driverele sunt doar pt vista iar modelele noi gen cum e al meu nici macar nu le recunoaste, indiferent de modelul scris (sus jos, serial ), incercati pachetele de drivere la zi, cu autodetect, sau chiar dvd-urile de instalare windows, care detecteaza automat ce drivere are calc, si le instaleaza in proportie de 80 90%. Eu cel putin asa am facut.

Am si eu un laptop Sony Vaio VGN-FE41M. A venit cu Win Vista instalat dar am bagat XP. Am luat driverele pt XP de la modelul VGN-FE31H. S-au potrivit perfect mai putin cele pt camera. Laptopul are o camera Motion Eye dar nu am gasit driver pt XP. Daca are cineva vreo idee as ramane recunoscator. Adresa mea de mail e cspaffys @ yahoo.com

Am un Sony Vaio VGN-NR11Z/S , vine cu Vista preinstalat, i-am facut recovery sa nu raman in fundu' gol,  dar acum ma chinui cu xp-ul ptr k nu gasesc driveri ........ vre-o idee vre-o sugestie?

Solution: The first step is to understand that Sony is only a brand and underneath every brand is pretty much a well built Intel Chipset or some other chipset manufacture that Sony don't want you to know about.

1) Goto Intel website and download this utility to find out what chipset you actually have got (this is providing that the VAIO laptop is an Intel Chipset (most of them are):

Download the Chipset Identification Utility and run it on your VAIO - (I had to have another computer to download the drivers and a USB key to transfer them to the VAIO laptop as I had 8 devices which couldn't be found in device manager including the Ethernet Adapter so no Internet on the VAIO)

This great utility will let you know what your chipset is. For me it was the Intel 945GSM Chipset.

Once you know your chipset goto:

and select 'Chipsets' from the top left hand menu, then 'Laptop Chipsets' then select your chipset for the VAIO laptop that came up from the chipset identification utility. So for me its the 945 Express Family Chipset.

Next choose your OS: mine is XP Professional

In here you will get a list of some drivers and utilitys not all.

In my case I downloaded an INF Update utility but that still didn't sort the network card out and other stuff but you still need it to sort things out.

Next from the main Intel download site: http://downloadcente...om/default.aspx

and select 'Graphics' from the top left hand menu, then 'Laptop Graphics Controllers' then select your chipset for the VAIO laptop that came up from the chipset identification utility. So for me its the 945 GM Express Family Chipset.

Choose your OS: XP Pro (for me)

And download the latest version of Intel Graphics Media Accelerator! and boom your graphics will come after a reboot.

Once again from the main Intel Download site, you can also browse to other drivers that you may require, just have a good sniff round the site because just remember that under that Sony is a simple Intel Chipset Wink

General Network drivers for all Intel Chipset boards that got me going just fine:

The Audio drivers for the VAIO that I eventually found used Intel High Definition Audio and so just a simple AC'97 High Deff Audio driver sorted this out fine:

With this particular VAIO came also a fingerprint scanner for extra security. Goto here to download the latest drivers for XP which worked a treat like all the drivers above - this software is called: "Protector Suite" the link is halfway down the following page:

As you can see most of the drivers are available on the Intel website because it is their chipset.

I just can't, for the life of me, understand why sony would not provide this information to its users, who after all, are simply asking for HELP and they are just bouncing those cries with a deaf ear.

Exista driveri ptr sony vaio vgn-nr11z/s ; merge pus windows-ul xp   ........ deci .........se poate!

A gasit cineva driver pt webcam la modelul VGN-FZ21M ? daca da imi poate spune unde il gasesc si eu. Multumesc

eu am gasit un pachet care merge pe toate seriile fz2(pentru xp)...am si pt camera si pt tot.. dar cand incerc sa instalez driverul audio imi zice ceva de genu " device object not found,restart the sistem and start again"...am intrat in device manager ,in tot dar nu reusesc sa ii dau de cap deloc...ma ajuta si pe mine cineva??

Salut. DACA CONSIDERA CINEVA CA SE PRICEPE, VA ROG FOARTE MULT SA MA AJUTATI SI PE MINE SA PUN XP PE UN SONY VAIO VGN NR11Z.am citit totul de aici dar nu am reusit.am gasit eu o metoda dar imediat dupa ce termina de instalat apare o eroare pe fond albastru si se reporneste.NU STIU CE SA MAI FAC!
