Brand new tuning program Concurrent with the market introduction of the new Mercedes-Benz C-Class BRABUS presents an exclusive sport program for the new sedan.

Highlights of the product lineup are the BRABUS 4.0 displacement engine with 332 hp / 244 kW for the V6 gasoline models, an elegant aerodynamic-enhancement program, light-alloy wheels with 20-inch diameter and corresponding suspensions, plus numerous individual interior options.

BRABUS is world-renowned for its powerful yet clean-burning displacement engines, lubricated exclusively with ARAL motor oil. All tuning components and conversions are backed by the one-of-a-kind BRABUS Tuning Warranty® of three years up to 100,000 kilometers (see BRABUS warranty conditions as of June 2003).

For the new C 280 and C 350 models BRABUS offers its BRABUS 4.0 engine. By installing a special crankshaft and larger pistons displacement is increased to 4.0 liters. Additionally the four-valve cylinder heads are optimized for gas flow, and fitted with special camshafts. The conversion further includes a stainless-steel high-performance exhaust system with metal catalysts, and newly programmed engine electronics.

The impressive results of the conversion are a maximum power output of 332 hp / 244 kW and a peak torque of 420 Nm at 4,200 rpm. Thus equipped, the four-door delivers excellent performance: Just 5.9 seconds pass from 0 - 100 km/h, top speed is 275 km/h in combination with the BRABUS Vmax-Unit.

For the CDI models of the new C-Class BRABUS offers its PowerXtra performance kits. The list starts with the D2 (III) kit that increases power output of the C 200 CDI by 39 hp / 28.7 hp, and bumps peak torque to 385 Nm. The C 220 CDI with BRABUS D3 (III) kit delivers 195 hp / 143 kW of power and 450 Nm of peak torque. For the top-of-the-line turbodiesel model C 320 CDI there is the D6 (III) power kit. It delivers 48 hp / 35.3 kW of additional power and a peak torque of 590 Nm, turning the new C-Class into one of the world's sportiest diesel-powered cars with a 0 – 100 km/h time of just 6.9 seconds and a top speed of 250 km/h.

BRABUS stainless-steel quad sport exhaust systems are available for all engine variants.

More dynamics for the new C-Class also come from custom-tailored BRABUS tire/wheel combinations with diameters of 17, 18, 19 and 20 inches and corresponding BRABUS sport suspensions, lowering kits and sport sway bars. The largest wheels for the new C-Class are BRABUS Monoblock VI, E and S light-alloy wheels in size 9Jx20 front and back, fitted with tires is sizes 235/30 ZR 20 in front and 265/25 ZR 20 on the rear axle.

BRABUS high-performance brake systems are available for the W 204 model series in two versions and offer maximum stopping power and endurance.

The BRABUS design team also went into the wind tunnel to develop aerodynamic-enhancement components that not only look great but also offer maximum aerodynamic efficiency. All parts are manufactured from high-quality PUR-Rim in OEM quality.

The sporty styled BRABUS front spoiler lends the C-Class a more characteristic appearance with its generously dimensioned air inlets for improved supply of cooling air for radiators and front brakes. It also minimizes lift on the front axle, thus improving directional stability at high speeds. Four integrated auxiliary headlights further optimize active safety. BRABUS offers a three-piece rear spoiler that serves as its aerodynamic counterpart in the rear.

Strikingly styled BRABUS rocker panels create perfect aerodynamic transitions between front and rear wheel arches. The panels are optionally available with integrated LED entrance lights. For the outside mirrors BRABUS offers custom-tailored carbon-fiber covers.

The new BRABUS rear apron with one cutout left and right for the sport exhaust rounds out the exclusive appearance.

BRABUS also enjoys a great reputation worldwide for exclusive interior design: For the new C-Class the company-own upholstery shop handcrafts exclusive interiors from especially soft and breathable BRABUS Mastik leather and Alcantara with utmost precision. The BRABUS program also includes a wide array of individual accessories for the interior. The lineup ranges from an ergonomically shaped sport steering wheel to aluminum foot pedals and 330-km/h speedometer to stainless-steel door sills with illuminated BRABUS logo to precious-wood and carbon-fiber trim sets.

"Pentru piata din Romania s-au inregistrat pana in acest moment 87 de comenzi ferme. Dintre acestea, mai mult de 50% reprezinta versiunea Avantgarde si 75% sunt dieseluri", a declarat Ioana Taflan, Head Marketing & PR la DaimlerChrysler Automotive Romania. "Primele exemplare urmeaza a fi livrate dupa data de 15 aprilie", a adaugat ea. DaimlerChrysler Automotive Romania este importatorul oficial al Mercedes-Benz in Romania. Generatia precedenta, lansata in 2000, s-a comercializat in peste 2.280.000 de unitati pe plan mondial.

Designul dinamic, pune accent pe crearea unei imagini sportive, care inspira putere, dar si eleganta. Spre deosebire de Elegance, care ramane fidela liniei "traditionale", pentru Avantgarde s-a optat pentru amplasarea emblemei in grila radiatorului, care de asemenea a fost modificata, cele trei fante orizontale ale sale fiind trasatura sa principala. "Prin utilizarea unei parti frontale diferite pentru versiunile Avantgarde, respectiv Elegance, s-a dorit o individualizare a modelului, dar si atragerea mai multor tipuri de clienti. Designul face parte din noul ADN in materie de imagine adoptat de Mercedes-Benz", a declarat Marc Boderke, Senior Manager pentru Product Management al C-Klasse. "Pentru aproximativ acelasi pret ca si generatia precedenta dorim sa oferim un automobil mai sigur, mai performant, care consuma mai putin si care imbina confortul specific marcii cu noi sisteme care permit adoptarea unui stil de condus mai dinamic, fara a sacrifica din siguranta", a adaugat Boderke.

Distributia greutatii de 52%/48% fata/ spate pentru versiunile echipate cu propulsoare cu patru cilindri si de 55%/45% pentru cele cu sase cilindri asigura un comportament rutier optim, chiar si cand este parcurs un drum virajat, intr-o maniera mai sportiva.

La exterior versiunea Avantgarde poate fi echipata cu pachetul sport AMG care cuprinde spoilere fata/spate cu design sportiv si praguri laterale pentru un plus de dinamism.

La interior se remarca atentia acordata detaliilor. Gurile de ventilatie de la baza parbrizului, au fost mascate, pentru a nu crea nota discordanta cu restul plansei de bord. Materialele sunt de calitate superioara, placute la atingere si care pastreaza ideea de lux la nivel Mercedes-Benz.

Doar un singur lucru poate fi reprosat inginerilor care au proiectat plansa de bord: pozitia semnalizatorului este mai jos decat la majoritatea automobilelor, aceasta necesitand un timp de acomodare. Pozitia la volan poate fi ajustata pana la cel mai mic detaliu, scaunele si volanul fiind reglabile exclusiv electric. In spatele volanului se regasesc cele doua clapete pentru schimbarea manuala a treptelor, foarte utile atunci cand este parcurs un drum virajat intr-o maniera mai sportiva. Scaunele sport ofera un suport lateral foarte bun, special pentru a nu crea disconfort atunci cand se parcurge un drum cu multe viraje.

Versiunea testata a fost modelul C350 Avantgarde Sport echipat cu un V6 de 3.498 cmc, care furnizeaza 272 CP la 6.000 rpm si un cuplu de 350 Nm, valoare disponibila intre 2.400 si 5.000 rpm. Motorizarea este disponibila exclusiv cu transmisia automatica 7G-Tronic, cu sapte trepte. Acceleratia 0-100 km/h se realizeaza in 6,3 secunde, iar viteza maxima este limitata electronic la 250 km/h. Atunci cand se ruleaza in modul automat, cutia 7G-Tronic schimba treptele aproape insesizabil. In kick-down (atunci cand se apasa la maximum pedala de acceleratie - n. red.) propulsorul ofera un raspuns extrem de prompt, putand fi comparat cu succes cu unul al unui automobil din clasa sport. Pe parcursul drive-testului, consumul mediu de combustibil inregistrat, a fost de 9,8 litri/100 km, valoare optima daca se iau in calcul performantele sale dinamice.

Agility Control este sistemul inovativ care gestioneaza sistemul de franare, cel de directie si suspensia. Pentru cei ce doresc un stil mai sportiv, dar fara sa decupleze ESP-ul (sistemul electronic de stabilitate - n. red.), poate fi activat modul "Sport" prin simpla apasare a unui buton de pe consola centrala. Astfel se pot realiza chiar si derapaje controlate, sistemul de stabilitate si cel de tractiune intervenind doar pentru a corecta traiectoria automobilului, si nu pentru a influenta stilul de condus.

Un alt detaliu care iese in evidenta sunt oglinzile retrovizoare de dimensiuni generoase, care confera o vizibilitate foarte buna, foarte utile mai ales in traficul urban.

Un optional aproape nelipsit de pe orice automobil din Europa de Vest, GPS-ul, sau sistemul de navigatie, a fost semnificativ imbunatatit in comparatie cu generatia precedenta.

Display-ul sau este amplasat deasupra consolei centrale, si atunci cand automobilul este parcat, acesta se retrage intr-un compartiment special. Imaginea este impartita in doua sectiuni, una in care este afisata imaginea de ansamblu si una in care este afisata cea mai apropiata intersectie si ruta care trebuie urmata.

Cel de-al doilea model testat a fost versiunea C320 CDI Elegance, echipata cu dieselul V6 de 3,2 litri. Acesta dezvolta 224 CP la 3.800 rpm si un cuplu maxim de 510 Nm disponibil intre 1.600 rpm si 2.800 rpm. Spre deosebire de versiunea Avandgarde, Elegance dispune de grila clasica a radiatorului cu emblema constructorului german amplasata pe capota.

La capitolul performante dinamice, C320 CDI accelereaza de la 0 la 100 km/h in 7,7 secunde si poate atinge o viteza maxima de 250 km/h. Acest model se doreste a fi un echilibru intre un automobil care poate oferi atat performante dinamice optime, dar si un consum de combustibil redus. Consumul mediu inregistrat a fost de 7,2 litri/100 km.

In traficul urban C-Klasse s-a dovedit a fi foarte manevrabil, dimensiunile sale permitand parcurgerea in conditii bune chiar si la ore de varf. Atat C350 Avantgarde Sport, cat si C320 CDI s-au dovedit a fi extrem de stabile atunci cand s-au abordat viraje stranse intr-o maniera mai dinamica, sistemele de tractiune respectiv cel de stabilitate intrand in functiune exact in momentul in care puntea spate pierdea aderenta.

Pretul de baza in Romania al motorizarii C350 este de 37.500 de euro fara TVA. Versiunea de baza, C180 Kompressor pe benzina, porneste de la 25.500 de euro. Modelul C320 CDI are un pret de pornire de 33.870 de euro, fara TVA.

si mie mi se pare cu cat vad mai multe poze cu el. Aceeasi parere o am si despre interior, cam cah..

au inceput sa apara diverse programe de tuning pentru c-class, mai jos avem Carlsson CK35 , bazat pe c350 , caruia i-a fost sporita puterea de la 272 cp la 295 cp , cuplul fiind si el marit de la 350 la 395 Nm. Dpdv optic arata ff bine

Race-proven CK35 performance kit

Carlsson has been a successful competitor in the VLN Long Distance Trophy at the Nürburgring for many years. At the world's most demanding race-track for both driver and technology, Carlsson tests parts that are later to be found in its range of parts and accessories. The company currently uses the CK35 performance kit based on the 3.5 litre V6 for long-distance racing in an SLK. In other words, every Carlsson CK 35 customer participates in Carlsson's racing success. "The concept of taking developments 'from the race track to the highway' applies to the CK35 more than any other engine", says CEO Rolf Hartge proudly explaining how this piece of high-tech engineering has been breathed on to ensure durability and great efficiency.

Developed in motor racing for absolute reliability and superior performance, the CK35 kits give customers the assurance that they, too, could win races with this engine. The Carlsson unit produces 217 kW / 295 bhp and presses maximum torque of 385 Nm onto the crankshaft.

Also part of the CK35 kit, the stainless-steel sports rear silencer with four oval tailpipes hints clearly but not too loudly at the increased engine output. Carlsson also modifies and significantly improves the engine's electronic control system while a sports air filter ensures that the V6 has no trouble in taking a deep breath.

The increased output coupled with effortless power delivery result not only in a better paper form but also significantly improved flexibility and, therefore, greater driving pleasure. The top speed of the CK35 is 270 km/h. The sprint from 0 to 100 km/h takes just six seconds, four tenths faster than the standard car. At the same time, the sound emitted from the four tail pipes is certain to set the pulse of every racing enthusiast.

Carlsson aerodynamic kit: the dynamic and striking alternative

Without making the car look flashy, Carlsson fits an aerodynamic kit that not only reduces lift at the same time as making the car more elegant and powerful looking but also lends an individual touch and, of course, the sporting flair so typical of Carlsson. The aerodynamic kit consists of a front apron, a diffuser-look apron at the rear, side mouldings and a rear spoiler that stabilises the car at higher speeds. In aceasta seara am fost la lansarea oficiala a C-Klasse de la Autoklass. Am fost si Sambata la cea din Piata Revolutiei  organizata de Dimler-Chrysler, insa aceea s-ar fi putut numi orice numai nu lansare si mai ales la un brand precum Merceds. Trei C-Klasse intr-un cort si patru Smart intr-un cort mai mic langa. WTF??  :death:
Anyway, cu speranta ca voi avea parte de ceva mai multa calitate, am purces catre Autoklass. Initial trebuia sa inceapa la ora 19:00, insa in final a inceput la 20:30, perioada in care totusi nu am stat degeaba si am inspectat S600-le V12 pe care D-l Adrian Porumboiu a avut placerea de a-l face tandari in a doua zi de paste.
Impresii:
Am sa incep cu eventul:mi-a lasat un aer de rafinament, cu o audienta destul de stilata (cu cateva exceptii mai colorate). Ca un mic amuzament, gazda eventului (prezentatorul) a fost actorul din reclama de la Dacia cu piese de origine. Cand l-am vazut instantaneu mi-a venit in minte o replica din reclama: "si ce vrei dom'le, e plina lumea de stricaciuni"  :naughty: . Sa speram ca nu va fi de rau augur. :D
Masina:
Exterior: Versiunile Classic si Elegance dau senzatia de eleganta, si cred ca se adreseaza persoanelor mai sobre (executive?) care vor si o nota de eleganta de la masina. Ceea ce mi-a atras atentia in mod deosebit este versiunea Avantgarde, care are un aer sportiv si again imho se adreseaza unui segment de clientela mai tanara. Acum ca o paranteza, daca nu ma inseala pe mine memoria prea tare, versiunile Elegance si Avantgarde sunt identice ca dotari si pret. Overall, mi-a lasat o impresie de eleganta combinata cu sportivitate care reuseste in acelasi timp sa impuna si respect.
Interior: Aici incepe distractia...
I.Spatiul pasagerilor
I.I: Pozitia soferului mi s-a parut foarte ergonomica, destul de joasa ca la o masina sport, oferind o vizibilitate foarte buna. Cotiera si cutia de viteze se integreaza in linia de ergonomie oferind o pozitie foarte comoda  la condus. Personal mi-a oferit senzatia unui cockpit de avion, avand in dreapta elementele de control, butoane and stuff.
I.II: O mare surpriza mi-a fost oferita de catre display-ul COMMAND. Initial din poze mi se parea singurul minus dpv. al designului, capacul rabatabil care acoperea display-ul mi se parea ca nuca in parete. In realitate procesul de pornire/oprire e chair cool si nu mi s-a mai parut deloc inestetic.
I.III: Materialele in sine sunt de calitate atat in ce priveste cele folosite la scaune precum si cele din bord INSA nu si cele de la....
I.IV: Cotiera. O aduc in discutie din doua motive: e singura parte din masina la care plasticul folosit mi se pare de proasta calitate, insa mai mult de atat accesul la ea se face intr-un mod destul de incomod. Pentru a rabata cele doua componente din care este este alcatuita, trebuie apasat pe un buton amplasat destul de incomod aflat in lateral. Problema se ampifica si mai tare in momentul in care este intuneric, pozitionarea butonului respectiv fiind foarte grea.
I.V: Spatiul din spate este generos chiar si cu scaunele din fata date la maxim, si in parerea mea asigura un confort foarte bun pasagerilor din spate chiar si la drum lung.

II. Portbagajul.
Mi-a atras atentia in mod deosebit si mi-a lasat o impresie foarte placuta acordandu-se o atentie foarte mare la detalii.
Singurul minus care pot sa-l mentionez este ca portbagajul este foarte mic, mult mai mic decal la Logan. (Joke, nu am putut sa ma abtin  :P )

Maine am programare la un test-drive cu un 220 CDI si un benzinar, inca nu stiu care anume. Revin cu impresii.

Aveam impresia ca lansarea la autoklass e maine. Anyway. Am o singura obiectie. Spatiul in spate e cam mic, mai ales pentru genunchi.

pai lansarea la noi in Romania,,cine mai cumpara de la noi daca poate lua de afara? L-am vazut si eu de mai mult timp.
Si erau la Arad sapt trecuta, expuse afara, desigur nu m-am oprit, nefiind fan Mercedes.Oricum, nu e un model de varf, dar era interesanta evolutia de la vechiul C la noul C.Masini inghesuite in spate, portbagaj mai redus un pic dar smekere pt oras, cu o cutie automata.Consuma putin-alt lucru bun.
Un C-Klasse neu -CDI 220 ajunge la un minim 45k cu dotarile minimale Navi,Xe, Piele & shit.Si nu e full de fulll, adica trapa sau alte figuri.
Un amic a renuntat si a luat un Passat-desigur , o alta clasa de masina, dar cu 10k mai ieftina, la aceleasi optionale.Oricum, mai misto era un C Nou,,,dar si banu a fost limitat, leasing, etc etc
Oricum, as lua oricand un A6 la aceeasi bani-no discussion.
Dispaly-ul ala Command costa ceva,...

Stie cineva ce fel de tractiune (fata sau spate) are noul Mercedes C- classe....Stiu ca exista si ver AWD....
Si ca o parere asa: ce se merita mai mult? O Honda Civic noua full option 1.8l (140cp) sau un C-Classe nou C180 (156cp) cu unele optiuni... incat sa ajunga pe la vreo 29000€ cip.

Tractiune spate. LOL! Pai e o doar o ''mica'' diferenta de cel putin 12000 euro CIP intre cele 2. E o comparatie cam deplasata. Probabil as alege o Honda... Accord 2.0 care costa cam 17-18000 CIP.

accord confort 2.0 benzina manual costa 19.500 DDP
accord executive 2.0 benzina manual costa 23.500 DDP.
la cutiile manuale se mai adauga cam 1.000 E
arata f bine si Honda... doar ca nu are clasa unui Merc ...

Da, oricum, se discuta despre preturi CIP, deci diferenta ramane semnificativa. Comparatia e deplasata oricum. Daca nu are bani de C, sa nu se intinda si sa ia ceva mai ieftin. Daca are bani de C, sa se uite si la Seria 3 sau la Lexus IS.
