Imprimanta HP 4L chitroasa

imprimanta asta merge fara probleme pe orice calc mai putin ala pe care vreau so instalez
desi e plug n play setupul nu o vede, iar dupa ce o instalez manual spune device not connected.
am schimbat si din bios toate setarile pt portul de lpt dar fara nici un rezultat
sistemul este win2k, o place via si toate updateurile la zi ca si la celelate calculatoare unde am incercat si am reusit sa instalez imprimanta.
mai grav e ca nu stiu ce inseamna epp, ecp, spp, ecp+epp
poate sa fie o problema hardware la respectiva placa de baza sau???

ps: am pus si cablul de lpt invers pe placa de baza, avind evident acelasi rezulat, numai ca nu mai zicea device not connected ci spunea ca nare hirtie desi ii dadusem so satur

deci SPP merge obligatoriu..........parca shi bidirectional..........asta in cazul ca mai ai portul bun

asta e o veste care imi incinta inima. niciodata nu mai pirlisem un port paralel asa ca nu vad de ce sa nu ma bucur. la urma urmei dal dracu, imi permit altu.
in alta ordine de idei pt ca imprimantele sint o mare necunoscuta in vitza mea. ce inseamna bidirectional?
si daca sint explicate pe udeva standardele aste de ecc ecp lalalala ca sa citesc mai multe despre ele
