De astazi (22 septembrie) Droid X a trecut oficial la Froyo :OK:

Dupa spusele utilizatorilor viteza este principala caracteristica a noului update.

Iata principalele imbunatatiri :

-  Easily switch between the eight most recent applications.
-  Enhanced browser performance for faster loading of Javascript heavy pages.
-  A screen that works for you and your apps.

With Android 2.2, you can rotate your screen 270 degrees either to the left or to the right when moving from portrait to landscape mode to work with apps in more directions.

-  Automatic app updates.

Always have the latest versions of the applications you've downloaded with automatically updated Android Market apps.
And you can choose to store applications in your device's memory or on a storage card for more capacity.

-  Take advantage of the preloaded VZ Navigator® application.

Get visual and audible directions to a destination, locate businesses and other places in an area, get a map of a location,
bookmark favorites and recent searches, and even share locations with others.

-  Overall improvements for Google Maps performance on the Droid X.
-  Improved connectivity to Exchange server and Exchange.

ActiveSync email notifications.

-  Easily edit MMS messages after attaching video files.
-  Manage message history from Contact application.
-  Transition from Wi-Fi and 3G without losing data connection.
-  Improved 3G Mobile Hotspot application.

Droid X va fi lansat si in Mexic (tot in versiune CDMA) sub numele de MOTOROI X, prin operatorul local Iusacell.
Va fi disponibil incepand din "�ltimo trimestre de 2010" si va fi primul telefon cu Froyo din Mexic (lansat prin operatorii locali).

Motorola lanseaza milestone x (aka droid x from verizon). in viitor poate vom vedea si varianta gsm a acestui telefon

Kentucky based regional carrier Bluegrass Celullar is adding another phone to its Android lineup, the Motorola Milestone X. Similar to the DROID X, the Milestone X quickly becomes the carrier's flagship device with a 4.3 inch screen, 1GHz processor and an 8MP camera that captures video in 720p.

The Motorola Milestone X will come with Andoid 2.1 out of the box, and there is no word on whether or not it will be upgradable to the magic Android 2.2 build that will permit users to install Adobe Flash Player 10.1. The carrier's web site says that the device is "Coming Soon" so there is no information on launch date or price.

Droid X e pentru Verizon SUA. (CDMA/1Ghz/512MB RAM/8GB/Android 2.2)
Motoroi X e pentru Iusacell Mexic. (CDMA/1Ghz/512MB RAM/8GB/Android 2.2)
MOTO ME811 e varianta CDMA pentru China Telecom. (1.2Ghz/512MB RAM/1GB/Android 2.2)
Milestone X e varianta (tot CDMA) pentru Bluegrass Cellular SUA. (1Ghz/512MB RAM/8GB/Android 2.1)

Se lucreaza la Gingerbread pentru Droid X.
Au aparut primele screenshot-uri dintr-un build oficial in care se vede noul look al interfetei Blur, identic cu ceea ce am vazut la CES pe Droid Bionic :

Sa speram ca Motorola va porta noul Blur si pe modelele europene.
