What is PeerBox™
Introducing PeerBox™
PeerBox Mobile is a user-generated content, social networking and peer-to-peer file sharing service for your mobile phone.
With PeerBox, you can share your videos and pictures with the world right from your mobile phone. You can also create your own picture profile, send messages to friends and watch their videos and pictures.

How to Use PeerBox:
Main Screen
PeerBox Main screen shows the latest videos in the main PeerBox video channel so you can View the details of the video by pushing the joystick. In the video details screen, just push the joystick once more to start playing the video. Choose Download from the Options menu to permanently download the file. If you like the item, you can easily recommend it to a friend by choosing the Recommend option and entering a friend’s number.
You can also express your ideas about the item by choosing the Comment option.
Other options are: view author’s profile, vote for it, set the picture as your userpic, add video to your favorites or access your downloads.





Click View Profile on the video details to see who uploaded the item.
When viewing author’s profile you can click on Options to:
> View their channel
> Add them as a friend
> Send them a message
> Vote for them






Push Joystick to the right to see the list of channels available in PeerBox, and to the left to access the My Stuff section. The tabs on the top of the screen help you see which screen you are in now.
Note: you will be required to login or register the first time you enter the My Stuff area.



To access the PeerBox Menu, push Menu on the main screen.

Menu Screen
PeerBox Menu screen gives you access to various PeerBox features so you can navigate the application as you wish.



My Stuff
This is the place where all your personal stuff is stored – your profile, your channel, your favorites, your messages and your friends. When you access the My Stuff screen for the first time, you will be required to register.
To Register:
Open the Options menu and select Register.
Type in a nickname and password that will be your Login information for future use.
Open the Options menu and select the Register option.
If you already have a PeerBox username and password, you can login:
Type in your nickname and password.
Open the Options menu and select Login.
(If you forgot your password select Password Reminder.)
My Stuff Sub-Screens:



My Details: View and change your own personal details that are visible to other users. You can also change your user picture here.
My Channel:View and manage your uploaded content. You can download each file, see its details, add it to your favorites, remove it, recommend it to a friend or set the thumbnail as your profile picture. The quantity of uploaded items is displayed in brackets.
Upload: Upload your own videos or pictures and make them available to the PeerBox community. First, record your video.
In the Upload screen, enter the Title, Tags (optional) and choose a Category for your video clip, and then push Next. On the following screen, browse your video files, choose the one you wish to upload and choose Options/Add. Your movie will appear in My Channel in the My Stuff screen. You can view your video, and recommend it to your friends.
I am a friend of: View other users who added you as their friend. You can view their profile, view their channel, send them a message, or vote for them. The quantity is displayed in brackets.
Manage friends: View and manage your friends’ list. You can view their profile, view their channel, send them a message, vote for them or remove them from the list of your friends. The quantity of friends is displayed in brackets.
Find friends: Search for other PeerBox users, by nickname, age or gender and add them as your friends.
Friends channel: View all the content uploaded by your friends. You can download each file, see its details, vote for it, add the file to your favorites or recommend it to a friend. The quantity of uploaded items is displayed in brackets.
Favorites: View content you have defined as your favorite. The quantity is displayed in brackets.
Invite a friend: Send an SMS invitation to let your friends know about PeerBox. Enter your friend’s phone number and push Options/Send.
My Downloads: You can see all your previously downloaded files here or move previously downloaded files to the History folder.
My messages: You can send a message to a friend, check for new messages and view previously sent messages.
Logout: You can log out of PeerBox

Channels
PeerBox offers you a whole world of mobile video.
To access the list of channels, push the joystick to the right on the main screen, or click the remote control icon in the menu.
Browse the list of channels, pick the channel you like and browse videos inside it.



Click a video to see the video Details screen.
The screen shows information about the clip as well as the name of the author. Try clicking the author’s name and you will get to his or her profile page.
From there, you can add that person to your Friends’ list, so that his/her videos will conveniently appear in your Friends’ channel as soon as they are uploaded.
You can View or Download each video clip, rate it or add it to your Favorites folder.



Messages
With PeerBox, you can get messages both from your friends and from the PeerBox team.
Whenever you have unread messages, the messages icon on the home page will flash. Also, the running line on the main screen will tell you how many messages you have. Messages can be textual, or contain links to content items. To make PeerBox more fun, we sometimes always send trivia questions for you to tease your brain.



Search
Enter the Search screen to search for videos, ringtones and pictures. PeerBox will search both the vast database of content uploaded by PeerBox users and the open P2P networks.
Enter a search term by typing the name of the desired item.
Choose a category by moving right or left while on the Category line.



After you finish entering the search term, select Options | Search. PeerBox will search the open P2P networks for you. After you get the list of files, you can browse through the list, view details for each file and choose one or more files to be downloaded to your device.

Downloads
You can see all your previously downloaded files here or move previously downloaded files to the History folder.
Download percentage is shown for files that are not completed yet.
Files that have been identified as copyrighted, and have not been purchased, are marked as 'Hold'.
For each file, open the Options menu to view the available actions.
Important note: If a file remains at 0% for too long then please delete it and choose another file. There may not be any available sources for download within the P2P networks, at this time.



Catalog
PeerBox comes with a vast catalog of music. You can browse music by New Releases, Featured Album, Artist, Album, Genre or Period. Choose the music you like, and download it to your phone.





Ringtones
PeerBox also boasts a great collection of premium ringtones available for sale. Push the Ringtones icon on the main menu, choose a genre, and Select a ringtone you like.
For each file, open the Options menu to view the available actions.



Bonus
Besides the regular catalog, PeerBox also has a vast Bonus catalog.
Recommend PeerBox to your friends, and earn Bonus Tracks from the Bonus catalog.



The bonus catalog can be browsed by Artists, Hot Picks, New Releases and Genres. Pick the tracks you like and download them for free!
