Access violation at address 00000000

Hello can anyone help me with this? I tried downloading ace mega codecs onto my computer and something went wrong now i can not uninstall and can not reinstall i get the Access violation at address 00000000. read address 000000000 message can anyone help?

or ... forget about ace mega ... and try somethin' else
k-lite is better, newer and smaller

I agree. Ace Mega isn't one of the best codecs on the market. I use Codec Pack All in 1, but you can choose whatever you like from here

thank you all but the problem is i can`t uninstall it nor can i reinstall it. It freezes up when i do reinstall and it gives me the access violation message when i uninstall. I am using windows xp and i can`t take the ace codec out
