Dar daca tu vrei sa complici o chestiune simpla inducand in eroare si destinatarul traducerii, cine-s eu sa-ti stau in cale? Cu siguranta nu un balerin. |

Jumping on tiptoe feet laterally and comebacks. http://pinoria.com/20-minutes-workout/ Ai mai multe exercitii aici, poate se potriveste unul. Asa? Jumping Jack/Jump off the balls of your feet?
Se discuta despre o persoana bolnava iar un interlocutor zice "Her body is frail, isn't it?" Traducatorul imi zice "Trupul ei e plapand, nu-i asa?" Eu fiind old school, cand nu toata lumea stia engleza, am prins si vremuri in care nu se traduceau astfel de chestii mot-a-mot, deci varianta valida as zice ca e "Are un trup plapand, nu-i asa?"

Dar in cazul respectiv e ok.
Ceea ce zici tu s-ar putea traduce She has a frail body, hasn't she? ... oricum, inseamna acelasi lucru... |

Cum se traduce: a avut loc, din expresia: Ieri a avut loc prima intalnire a grupei noastre. Deci ar veni: Yesterday the first meeting of our group took place. În mod normal în engleză exprimarea e activă, pentru că noi sîntem cei care am ținut întîlnirea: Yesterday we held our first group meeting sau Yesterday our group held its first meeting. In sfarsit!

You could say it was a warm-up meeting. You could call it a warm-up meeting. One could say it was... One could call it... It could be called a warm-up meeting. (Sau cu can / might / may în loc de could.) |

Cum se traduce: If I had a space shuttle, I would travel to space. Autorul da o traducere ( daca as avea....as calatori...), dar pe diverse siteuri de traduceri am gasit altceva (daca as fi avut...as fi calatorit...).
Multumesc. |
