Another great Sony product -- as always with Sony, it's extremely high quality and works great. With the NX5U it allows me to shoot SD and HD simultaneously -- one to the SD chips, the other format to the flash drive. 128 GB lets you record many hours in the format of your choice -- great for event videography, such as taping a day worth of lectures at a college. Very fast data transfer to the computer for editing -- maybe twice as fast as from the SD chips on the same camera. Compared to shooting Sony DVCAM 184 tapes, this flash drive saves a bundle on tape costs. (Just be sure to back up to hard drives for future use). I was really wedded to tape and nervous about making the switch -- but I became a believer after the first project.

Does not work with Slow/Quick Motion

Since that was my primary reason for buying the FS700, it's very disappointing that it is not mentioned anywhere that this does not work with high frame rates.
