The Maybach - regardless of whether in version 57 or 62 - represents the pinnacle of modern automotive engineering. Refining such a luxury sedan is very special and therefore BRABUS uses only its very best engineers, technicians, designers and upholsterers to work on this project.

BRABUS adds even more new, exclusive highlights to the interior of the luxury sedan. The interior designers from BRABUS created an interior crafted from the finest leather and Alcantara, further enhanced by color-contrasted decorative seams.

The BRABUS developers further designed additional interesting features for the standard entertainment system of the Maybach. The 16:9 color monitors of the BRABUS equipment are integrated into the back of the front seatbacks and measure 15.2 inches (production: 9 inches).

At the push of a button the Maybach is transformed into a luxurious office on wheels: The monitors serve as computer screens for a computer custom-developed for use in a car. It features an 80 Gigabyte hard drive and is connected to the Internet at up to 1.5 times the speed of ISDN using a W-LAN and a fourplex GPRS router. For comfortable operation the system features a handy wireless keyboard and a wireless optical gyro mouse.

Externally a Maybach refined by BRABUS can be distinguished by its custom-tailored BRABUS Monoblock VI light-alloy wheels with 21-inch diameter.

BRABUS further refines the elegant lines of the Maybach with two auxiliary headlights integrated stylishly into the production front apron using two precise-fitting inserts. The auxiliary headlights function as daytime running lights.

BRABUS makes the Maybach even more superior with the BRABUS SV12 bi-turbo increased-displacement engine. The twelve-cylinder bi-turbo engine delivers a maximum power output of 640 hp / 471 kW at 5,100 rpm and a gigantic peak torque of 1,026 Nm, available from 1,750 rpm.

Performance of the luxury sedan benefits accordingly: With BRABUS SV 12 engine the Maybach 57 accelerates bin just 4.9 seconds from 0 - 100 km/h. Top speed is an electronically limited 300 km/h.

With its 500 hp / 368 kW 12-cylinder engine and two turbochargers the new Mercedes S 600 redefined the performance standards for luxury automobiles. BRABUS raises the bar even more: The new BRABUS SV 12 Biturbo increased-displacement engine marks the top-of-the-line of the extensive BRABUS tuning program. Its 640 hp / 471 kW and gigantic maximum torque of 1,026 Nm catapult the S 600 in just 4.3 seconds to 100 km/h. The electronically limited top speed of 320 km/h make the tuned S 600 one of the world's fastest sedans.

570 hp, a maximum torque of 664 lb-ft, available from only 1900 rpm, just 4.6 seconds for the acceleration from 0 – 60 mph and an electronically limited top speed of 192 mph: Those are the cornerstones of the new Mercedes CL 600 with 12-cylinder bi-turbo engine and BRABUS T 12 engine tuning. BRABUS turns the top-of-the-line S-Class into one of the world's fastest sedans.

The BRABUS T 12 performance kit, which is also available for the new S 600, was developed in an extensive process, which included tests on the stationary test bench as well as numerous test drives. Newly programmed engine electronics, an increased boost pressure and the installation of a BRABUS stainless-steel high-performance brake system with metal catalysts resulted in a pronounced performance increase. Instead of normally 500 hp the 5.5-liter engine with BRABUS T 12 engine tuning delivers 570 hp. Simultaneously maximum torque grows from 590 lb-ft to 664 lb-ft. This enormous torque is available from just 1900 rpm. Performance of the luxury sedan with BRABUS T12 tuning reflects this increase in power. The tuned S-Class accelerates in just 4.6 seconds from 0 – 60 mph, top speed is electronically limited to 192 mph.

To keep this enormous performance safely in check at all times the new S 600 too can be fitted with the BRABUS high-performance brake system. It features 375 x 36 mm perforated and vented disks as well as 12-piston fixed calipers in front, and six-piston fixed calipers and 355 x 28 mm disks on the rear axle, and was developed specifically for the large Mercedes models.
To add more sporty accents to the elegant lines of the updated Mercedes S-Class the BRABUS designers developed a new aerodynamic-enhancement kit. The BRABUS front spoiler bumper with four integrated auxiliary headlights not only lends the luxury sedan a more striking appearance, it also reduces lift on the front axle.

Like the new front the BRABUS rear apron replaces the production bumper. BRABUS side sills with integrated entry lights are a custom BRABUS development. Pushing a button on the keyless- entry remote or pulling on the inside door handle activates five LED lights located in the underside of each side sill. These lights illuminate the ground next to the car to make entering and exiting the vehicle at night safer.

Just as important for an individual look and for active safety are attractive BRABUS Monoblock light-alloy wheels, which are available in a number of different designs as one-piece and multi- piece rims. Largest possible wheel/tire combination is multi-piece BRABUS Monoblock VI double- spoke wheels in sizes 9.5Jx20 in front and 10Jx20 on the rear axle. Michelin and Pirelli supply the corresponding high-performance tires in sizes 245/35 ZR 20 and 275/30 ZR 20.

Specifically matched to this tire/wheel combination is the BRABUS suspension module for the ABC suspension. It gives the S 600 more sporty yet comfortable handling characteristics and lowers the body by about 20 millimeters.

The BRABUS multimedia package represents the very latest in communication technology on wheels. The package is harmoniously integrated into the interior of the S-Class and is controlled with an organizer.

Luxurious and highly individualized interiors are yet another BRABUS specialty. The program ranges from sill plates with illuminated BRABUS logo to ergonomically shaped safety steering wheels with airbags to exclusive BRABUS interiors crafted from especially soft yet highly durable BRABUS Mastik leather or from the finest Alcantara.

The top-of-the-line BRABUS engine for the new SLK series is the BRABUS 6.1 S increased- displacement engine for the SLK 55, with its power increase of 85 hp / 62 kW. A custom crankshaft with longer stroke, precision-balanced piston rods, larger pistons and an increased cylinder bore result in a displacement increase to 6.1 liters. In addition the three-valve heads of the eight-cylinder are precision-machined and fitted with BRABUS custom camshafts. The installation of BRABUS high-performance metal catalysts and the precise calibration of the engine electronics round out the BRABUS 6.1 S engine conversion. The new increased-displacement engine exhibits exemplary smoothness and environmental friendliness in addition to its excellent performance: Rated power output jumps from standard 360 hp to 445 hp 6000 rpm. Even more important for increased driving fun is the improved elasticity as a result of the increase in torque: The BRABUS 6.1 S engine delivers a peak torque of 469 lb-ft. Performance of the tuned roadster is on a correspondingly high sports car level. Power is transferred to the rear wheels via a modified seven-speed automatic transmission and a custom- developed BRABUS locking differential. The BRABUS SLK 6.1 S catapults to 60 mph from rest in just 4.2 seconds. Top speed is an electronically limited 305 km/h.

Sporty yet elegant BRABUS aerodynamic-enhancement parts make the roadster even more exciting: The SLK receives a more striking face with the addition of the BRABUS front spoiler and its four auxiliary headlights. The spoiler also reduces lift on the front axle thus further improving directional stability especially a high speeds.
The BRABUS side sills give the two-seater a longer, sleeker appearance and offer an additional interesting feature: Pushing a button on the remote control of the vehicle or pulling on a door handle activates entrance lights integrated into the underside of the sills. They illuminate the ground next to the vehicle and make entering and exiting the vehicle in the dark safer. The rear is refined with the low-reaching BRABUS rear apron and the understated BRABUS rear spoiler. BRABUS further emphasizes the classic roadster look with two custom roadster bars, available with highly polished stainless-steel or with silver carbon finish. They replace the production bars of the SLK.

BRABUS Monoblock light-alloy wheels also contribute heavily to the sporty appearance of the SLK from Bottrop. They are available in various designs as one-piece or multi-piece rims with 17-, 18- and 19-inch diameters. The attached photos show the new Mercedes SLK with multi-piece BRABUS Monoblock V and VI wheels in sizes 8.5Jx19 in front and 9.5Jx19 on the rear axle. BRABUS recommends high- performance tires from Michelin or Pirelli in sizes 225/35 ZR 19 on the front axle and 255/30 ZR 19 in the rear.

An available comfortable BRABUS sport suspension with gas-pressure shocks and linear springs is the perfect match for these sporty low-profile tires. The sport suspension lowers ride height of the two-seater by two to three centimeters. Alternatively BRABUS offers a set of sport springs calibrated to the production shocks.

And of course BRABUS offers two high-performance brake systems for the new SLK, too. The largest version features six-piston aluminum fixed calipers and 355-mm vented and slotted discs on the front axle. The rear axle is fitted with 300-mm discs and four-piston aluminum fixed calipers. Special flex steel brake lines provide constantly high brake pressure.

Another focal point of refining the new Mercedes SLK is the interior: BRABUS offers an extensive program for the roadster: It includes such attractive accessories as highly polished stainless-steel sill plates with illuminated BRABUS logo, and an ergonomically BRABUS sport steering wheel with a choice of leather/carbon, leather/Alcantara or leather/walnut burl design. Special requests can be satisfied with an exclusive BRABUS fully leather interior crafted from BRABUS Mastik leather.

Masina din Bucuresti este un Plymouth Prowler (Chrysler) si nu se mai fabrica din 2002. De atunci s-au vandut in jur de 11,000 de bucati, majoritatea de culoare violeta.
De fapt in primele doua luni ale anului 1999 s-au facut doar Prowler-e ce aveau aceasta culoare, mai tarziu introducandu-se si culoarea galbena (apoi rosu, negru si argintiu, dar f f putine). Pretul recomandat de producator pt modelul '99 este in jur la 40,000 coco, dar se pare ca preturile sunt simtitor mai mari din cauza ofertei de productie care acoperea circa 10% din cereri pe piata americana. Unde ati vazut din astea prin Bucuresti? ....WOW, ca in rest am ramas fara cuvinte...:)

@TzZzepi, masina a mai fost postata si toata lumea e de acord ca e porcarie, ba chiar cineva a zis "saracu' Hummer".
Pentru Prowler: ce nr. de inmatriculare avea? Dupa cate stiu, Prowler-ele nu se pot inmatricula in Europa deoarece au farurile prea apropiate.

@georges, fa si tu pozele alea mai mici ca n-are rost sa vedem toate mustele de pe pereti.

Din cate am citit despre Prowler-e, acestea sunt oferite doar pe piata americana si canadiana, dar e posibil sa ma insel. In State sunt poreclite "street-rods", un tribut adus acestei forme de arta original americana (forma de glont, cu roti supradimensionate pe spate)
