Orase, provincii...totul despre ele

Propun un mic topic unde fiecare isi va spune propriile pareri despre orasele din Canada. De la economie si natura pana la cele mai mici detalii care i-au determinat pe unii sa plece acolo si pe altii sa "viseze" la a ajunge acolo. De fapt e o mica dezbatere sa vedem care ar fi cele mai bune orase in care am locui, care sunt partile bune, partile rele, comparatii intre ele si cel mai important, care sunt favoritele voastre     ...

Sper ca topicul se va dezvolta cu timpul si vom ajunge chiar la un mic ghid pentru cei care vor sa plece acolo desi nu neaparat.

Ottawa este de departe, cel putin pentru mine (Halifax e pe locul 2   ), unul din orasele mele favorite din intreaga lume, e superb desi este cam aproape de Quebec, extrem de aproape, mult prea aproape ... Totul e frumos pana incep sa vorbeasca de independenta maretului Quebec iar avand in vedere cat de aproape este de Quebec, acest lucru se vede si in economia orasului... Deficitul este imens iar veniturile si cheltuielile, nu foarte bune...

Calgary ar fi un compromis destul de bun fata de peisaje si siguranta unei vieti destul de bune dar nu cred ca mi-ar place sa privesc muntii stiind ca sunt atat de departe de ei   , in rest prerie... Economia este solida si cred ca este o alegere buna pentru a incepe o viata noua, vorbim totusi de Alberta...

Saskatchewan... - "Cruise control takes on a whole new meaning here" - copacii care exista pe acolo sunt toti plantati de om si doar in interiorul oraselor si favorita mea...niciodata nu vei ramane fara faina   . Din punct de vedere financiar, daca se poate trece peste depresia cauzata de campiile fara sfarsit...este o alegere destul de buna si sincer sa fiu, fiind o economie care se  bazeaza extrem de mult pe agricultura si petrol, o populatie foarte mica, o regiune in dezvoltare...cred ca pe termen lung este probabil cea mai buna alegere daca ati fi dispusi sa renuntati la alte lucruri care fac viata..."dulce" si sa nu uit, criminalitatea nu este chiar mica si nici vremea nu este prea favorabila...

Estul...taxe mari, economia cam subreda fiindca depinde mult de peste dar ceva...ceva ma atrage teribil la est...e oare Europa americana ? Ar fi un loc unde ne-am simti cat de cat la fel ca acasa dar oare chiar este inteleapta o decizie de a merge acolo ca un imigrant nou venit ?

Toronto...nu prea cred...

Quebec iese din discutie.

Acum...imi puteti spune care credeti ca ar fi cele mai bune optiuni dintre Calgary, Vancouver, Halifax si Ottawa luand in considerare lucruri ca somajul, cresterea economica, stabilitatea locului de munca, posibilitatea gasirii unui job (in orice practic, suficient pentru un inceput) etc. perspectivele pe termen lung ? Am muuult mai multe lucruri in cap si totu e mult mai detaliat dar aici vorbim totusi de pareri subiective mai mult decat obiective... La urma urmei vorbim de alegerea unui loc unde ne-am putea petrece restul vietii si chiar mi-ar prinde bine sa aud parerile altor oameni fata de aceste orase si nu numai...

Nu vreau sa ne limitam doar la a-mi raspunde mie dar cred ca astfel de informatii ar fi de folosul oricui, chiar si celor care traiesc acum in Canada si poate chiar turisti. Nu e un topic cu raspunsuri clare, e un topic pentru parerile fiecarui om fata de orasele in care a fost, vrea sa mearga, vrea sa viziteze, orice despre...orice.

1. Racism is socially acceptable.

3. Other provinces basically bribe you to stay in Canada .

1. One way or another, the government gets 98% of your income.
