Kindle Touch (si cred ca si PW) tine colectiile intr-o baza de date la care nu ai acces fara jailbreak: /var/local/cc.db
Exista programe care ruleaza pe Kindle si fac conversie intre cc.db si collections.json, astfel poti folosi programele de pe PC ptr. editare colectii, dar si aceste programe necesita jailbreak.
Problema cu reclamele probabill tot prin jailbreak se rezolva (desi am inteles ca daca esti din Romania, poti cere de la Amazon dezactivarea gratuita a reclamelor).

When in Cover View, recommendations from the Kindle Store, such as Editor's Picks, will display below your content. Tap an item to go to its detail page in the Kindle Store.

Recommendations are not related to Special Offers. Recommendations only appear on the first page of the Home screen in Cover View.

To turn off Recommend Content:
1.  From the Home screen, tap the Menu icon and select Settings.
2.  Tap Device Options and select "Personalize your Kindle."
3.  Tap the switch to the right of Recommend Content to Off.

Hello,

The big problem for me is that the original screen savers were replaced by book covers and offers (usually the same one).

I only read books in Romanian language and I'm not interested in any "special offers" or "recommendations" for reading in another language.

I've turned off the "Recommended Content" but the orginal screen savers are still gone...

Do I have to reset my Kindle to factory defaults and never use again my Amazon account to get the original screen-savers back?

I'm extremely sorry for the trouble you've had regarding the Special Offers on your kindle.
Normally, by unsubscribing, we charge for the price difference between Kindle and Kindle with Special Offers if your device was originally purchased at a subsidized price.
However, I have disabled Special Offers on your Kindle device. You will not be charged any additional fees.
Please turn wireless on, and the next time you connect your Kindle device wirelessly, it will complete the process of unsubscribing your device from Special Offers.

I checked your account and confirmed that your kindle device has already been unsubscribed from the Special offers. Please turn wireless on, and the next time you connect your Kindle device wirelessly, it will complete the process of unsubscribing your device from Special Offers.
Further, I do understand that you'd like to get the default screensavers back when your device is in sleep mode.
