Hey.. I was wondering if anyone knew my problem to downloading Worm for Mac? I downloaded it hoping to play of my all time favorite games.. and it wouldn't open. I have a Macbook. and i feel it should be able to support this game. I looked at the ReadMe file and followed instructions. My computer came up and said "cannot not support file" or something. Hopefully someone can help me out.

Hopefully someone can help me out.  It looks like you have the Classic version of Worms. You cannot play this version of Worms on your MacBook beacuse it has no PPC processor.. Find a Universal Binary version of the game..or at least an OS X version that will run under Rosetta (Cocoa application). You could also try an emulator, but it is complicated - you have to install OS 9.x, create disk images and so on.. |
