"It is worrying," they said, "that people are still vulnerable when a perfectly good solution is available from Microsoft. Microsoft issued the patch on 20th August 2003." The patch is available from Windows Update or from Secunia here.

If you wanna know whether you might be vulnerable, Secunia has knocked up a little test you can run.

Am facut testul si nu s-a intamplat nimic... Nu stiu cum, dar se pare ca sunt OK

Daca esti vulnerabil, apare un pop-up.

La mine a aparut, dar am luat 40 Mb de patch-uri de la MS si acum e ok.

Cred ca e nevoie doar de SP2 pt IE

In explorer mi-a aparut pop-up-ul.

In Opera nu.

Hai sa ne patchuim ca deja tot fac asta saptamanal. O sa devina o operatiune zilnica? Sper sa nu.

eu o fac zilnic, am patch-uri pana in ultimul moment si sunt vulnerable
Courage, daca citeai atent la Secunia, ai fi vazut ca esti ORICUM vulnerabil, pentru ca nu exista inca patch pentru asta. Trebuie sa dai disable de tot la ActiveX, asa ca permite-mi sa ma indoiesc ca ai pus patch-uri si e ok.

am facut testul si am luat un patch indicat de aia , luat de la M$

am luat unul pt XP si cand dau sa-l instalez imi zice ca imi trebe IE 6, dar eu am IE 6.000.298 parca si nu continua install-ul!
La un amic, are instalat XP de pe cd-ul meu, i-a mers patch-ul pe care eu l-am luat! Stie careva ce ar putea sa aiba IE-ul meu?

Hai ma, ultimul firebird (luat de pe ftp din nightly builds) arata totul ok.
N-am vazut pagina care sa nu mearga. Bine, tre sa-i pui pluginurile de java si flash.

Nu am link, eu nu l-am dat jos de undeva, am facut download "offline" la kit-ul de IE6 (full), l-am arhivat (cu ZIP, nu ACE sau alte compresii super-meseriase), si au iesit 48MB.

Da daca folositi Crazy Browser ce are? Va face si Tab-uri si va blocheaza si ferstrepele nedorite. Si mai si seamana cu IE si merge super!
