Ai vrea să trăiești veșnic? Ei bine, s-ar putea să existe o soluție în sensul acesta. Iată ce este pastila anti-îmbătrânire, ca să îți dai seama cam unde a ajuns știința.

Începând cu anul viitor, Comandamentul pentru Operațiuni Speciale (SOCOM) al armatei SUA va începe să testeze o pastilă experimentală despre care se spune că poate împiedica efectele îmbătrânirii asupra soldaților.

Experimentul, relatează Breaking Defense, face parte dintr-o acțiune de a spori capacitatea umană și de a menține combatanții sănătoși și de a funcționa la performanțe maxime mai mult timp. Și, în așteptarea performanței pastilei și a testelor clinice, ar putea să-și facă loc în piață, ca un nou tratament de longevitate și pentru mase.

Pilula este în esență un supliment alimentar care crește nivelul moleculei NAD +, care este un compus ce se găsește, în mod obișnuit, în industria nootropică nereglementată, care a fost legată de îmbătrânire și de nenumăratele moduri în care corpul uman se deteriorează în timp.

“Inundând” sistemele soldaților cu NAD + suplimentar, SOCOM speră să prevină bolile legate de vârstă, să îmbunătățească capacitatea fizică și mentală și să mențină performanța soldaților care scade, inevitabil, în mod natural, pe parcursul carierei lor.

Pilula experimentală „are potențialul, dacă are succes, să întârzie cu adevărat îmbătrânirea, să prevină cu adevărat apariția bolilor legate de vârstă – ceea ce schimbă uimitor jocul”, a declarat pentru Breaking Defense directorul departamentului de Știință și Tehnologie SOCOM, Lisa Sanders.

Teoretic ar fi posibil de incetinit imbatranirea.
O pisica este batrana la 15 ani, varsta la care un om nici nu este adult inca. Asta indica faptul ca imbatranirea este programata genetic.
Se poate reprograma speranta de viata?

Pe lângă durata biologică de viata mi se pare important să se întârzie și degradarea funcțiilor cognitive. Degeaba trăiești 200 ani dacă 150 ești o leguma hrănită (spiritual) de Antena3 sau feisbuc

Se poate sti relativ devreme speranta de viata. Ai telomerii lungi, traiesti mai mult. Ai telomerii scurti, ghinion. Am inteles ca se cerceteaza modul de alungire artificiala. Exista nush ce ser extrem de scump. Stresul ii scurteaza de ex.

Clonarea organelor rezolva partial problema. Mai sunt si organele artificiale.
Ramane problema vaselor de sange din creier, singurul care nu poate fi inlocuit.

Daca nu teleomerii nu ne scurteaza viata, atunci trebuie sa existe ceva care o face. Altfel nu se explica raportul de 5:1 intre om si pisica.

And they can do this over and over if they get the chance. Many won’t though as they become dinner for other animals.
