Eu un KU6402/6472 de anul trecut, imbunatatit. I-au bagat luminozitate mai mare, panou pe 120Hz si 10bits, Twin Tunner, smart restilizat si update-uri de compatibilitate cu HDR.

Si de ce n-ar fi un KS8002 imbunatatit daca vine vorba asa ?

MU7/8/9 sunt variante imbunatatite ale KU9402/6472, au tehnologie Dynamic Crystal Color. KS7/8/9 si Qled-urile au tehnologie Quantum Dot. Deci Mu7/8/9 nu au cum sa fie urmasele KS-urilor, doar au imprumutat designul.

MU6300/MU6500 = KU6300/KU6500 replacement; 60hz, no WCG, no local dimming
MU7000/MU7500 = KU7000/KU7500 replacement; 60hz, WCG, no local dimming
MU8000/MU8500 = KS8000/KS8500 replacement; 120hz, WCG, edge lit local dimming
MU9000 = KS9000 replacement; 120hz, WCG, edge lit local dimming...slightly better something over MU8xxx like the KS9xxx has over the KS8xxx (no real world improvement)

Referitor la seria MU8x foloseste QDEF-MVA care este tot quantum dot.

Quantum Dot Enhancement Film (QDEF) – on-panel
Most QD TVs available in the market now use QD sheet or film located in the top of the light-guide plate. Locating QD film behind the glass panel but in-front of the color filter eliminates the proximity to the LED package and keeps QDs cool. To make white color, blue LED and red and green phosphor are required. For QDEF panel, we need blue LED and red and green QDs. QD act like phosphor in this case to transform the blue light into red or green. Samsung Electronics has been using sheet technology and indium QDs for over 3 years for SUHD QD TVs.

Probabil trebuie intrebat la samsung.

Nu ma pronunt pana nu am confirmarea oficiala de la samsung. Ce pot spune ca se vede diferenta dintre KS si MU.

Pai, asta a si spus Samsung pe site-ul propriu:
Quantum dot: KS7/8/9 si Q7/8/9
Dynamic Crystal Color (adica imbunatatire a Active Crystal Color de pe KU6402/6472): MU7/8/9. Practic, acopera cam aleasi spectru de culori, insa are o luminozitate mai buna.
Active Crystal Color: MU64xx/65xx

Acum ca samsung va construi o fabrica noua dedicata productiei de panel OLED by Samsung probabil vor mai scadea pretul la LCD.
