Dar nu mai are treabă cu Digi din Romania și Ungaria.

Au mai ramas maxim 13 zile pana cand vom sti daca vom vedea Formula 1 in continuare in Romania in HD. Si peste 2 saptamani se va termina licitatia pentru UCL si UEL in Romania.

Digi gives Bundesliga platform in Czech Republic, Slovakia

Direct-to-home and IPTV platform Digi has acquired rights for German football’s Bundesliga in Czech Republic and Slovakia. The rights will cover the remainder of the current season and the next three seasons, from 2018-19 to 2020-21.

Coverage will be provided on the Digi Sport 2 HD and Digi Sport 3 HD channels, which are part of the company’s sports packages – Sport and Sport Plus.
Digi agreed the deal with the Pragosport agency, which has been trying to sell the rights for well over a year, leaving the Bundesliga without a broadcast partner in the two countries so far this season. Digi's coverage will begin this Sunday with Borussia Dortmund v Eintracht Frankfurt kicking off at 6pm local time in the two countries.

SIC extends Europa League deal in Portugal

Portuguese commercial broadcaster SIC has extended its rights agreement for the Uefa Europa League club football competition. The new contract grants SIC exclusive free-to-air rights across the three seasons spanning 2018-19 to 2020-21. SIC has held rights to the tournament since 2012.

Under the deal, Portuguese newspaper Expresso said SIC will show a live match on each game day of the Europa League, from the group stage through to the final, along with highlights of the competition.
The Europa League deal comes after SIC last month agreed a sublicensing pact with public-service broadcaster RTP for rights to the 2018 Fifa World Cup national team football tournament.
Under the agreement, SIC will reportedly sublicense eight matches from rights-holder RTP to this summer’s competition in Russia, including one meeting featuring the Portuguese national team. SIC will hold exclusive rights to these matches.
SIC will also broadcast highlights of the tournament, which runs from June 14 to July 15.

Si MEDIA SERVICE SUPPORT AND ASSET MANAGEMENT FUND a castigat si se stie de ceva timp. Are exclusivitate la meciurile care se vad doar la Spiler, sa nu se greseasca la fel cum au spus multi in Romania. Corect e asa: Spiler are exclusivitate la majoritatea meciurilor, nu la toate. Si la noi se spunea gresit: Telekom transmite in exclusivitate, cand majoritatea se vedeau doar la Telekom, nu toate. M-am referit doar la Champions League pentru ca la Premier League nu stiu si sincer nici nu ma intereseaza.

Sky Deutschland scores Ultra HD rights for World Cup

German pay-television broadcaster Sky Deutschland has secured exclusive Ultra HD rights to national team football tournament the 2018 Fifa World Cup. The agreement has been signed with SportA, the sports rights agency of public-service broadcasters ARD and ZDF, who hold the World Cup rights in Germany.

The package secured by Sky comprises 25 matches in total, including all of Germany’s games, the opening match, both semi-finals and the final itself. The matches will be broadcast on the Sky Sport UHD channel, with ARD and ZDF retaining rights to all games in SD and HD resolution.

Sky has regularly shown German Bundesliga and Uefa Champions League football matches in UHD since October 2016. Germany won the 2014 World Cup and has been drawn alongside Mexico, South Korea and Sweden in Group F for this summer’s tournament, which runs from June 14 to July 15 in Russia.

MP & Silva selected by CONMEBOL for the consulting and commercialization of Copa America Brazil 2019 rights. Yesterday, the Council of CONMEBOL unanimously awarded the contract for the consultancy and commercialization of Copa America 2019 to MP & Silva. The tender and adjudication were supervised by the auditing firm Ernst & Young. MP & Silva will be responsible for the consulting, sales and after-sales services of the oldest and most prestigious tournament of CONMEBOL, the COPA AMERICA Brazil 2019.

This appointment takes place within the framework of the profound reforms that, since January 2016, which CONMEBOL has been implementing to professionalize and make transparent the governance of South American football, as well as improving the quality and organization of its tournaments. MP & Silva President of Americas, Frank Uddo, said: “We are proud to be awarded the opportunity to work with CONMEBOL on such a globally popular football tournament as Copa America. We look forward to working closely with them to deliver new and exciting opportunities for global fans to experience some of the best and most competitive football in the world.”

MP & Silva will create a dedicated team located in Brazil for this project that will work exclusively in coordination with CONMEBOL and the Local Organizing Committee of Copa America 2019 for the delivery of this contract. This will provide CONMEBOL with best in class tools to successfully implement the commercial maximization of Copa America rights regionally and globally.
