Telekom are în plus Premier League (doar meciurile de duminică), însă actualul contract se duce la anul și nu se știe cine sau dacă se vor mai lua drepturile. Și unele amicale.

DAZN to launch in Spain from 2019 with MotoGP and English Premier League

Streaming platform DAZN will launch in Spain from 2019 with exclusive pay-television rights to MotoGP and the English Premier League, bringing competition to a market that had become dominated by Telefonica.

DAZN will hold rights to MotoGP for the next four years, from 2019 to 2022. It is thought a limited package of linear rights will be sold to a free-to-air broadcaster, granting DAZN pay-television exclusivity over one of Spain’s most important properties.

Its exclusive three-season deal for Premier League rights, from 2019-20 to 2021-22, will see DAZN show 235 live matches per season.
Crucially, Telefonica holds rights to LaLiga rights until the end of 2021-22, securing its position as the number-one player in the market. But DAZN’s entry means a tricky renewal for rights to Euroleague Basketball (from 2019-20) – another important property.

Spain is the eighth confirmed market for DAZN, after its launches in Japan, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Canada, Japan and the United States. It is also close to confirming its launch across Latin America and Brazil, a move somewhat dependent on a successful bid for rights to the Copa Sudamericana.

Sky acquire near-live Premier League rights from 2019-20 to 2021-22

UK pay-television broadcaster Sky has added near-live extended and mobile clip rights to its coverage of the English Premier League, in a new three-season deal, from 2019-20 to 2021-22.

This is in addition to the 128 live matches per season that Sky will broadcast from the 2019-20 season, when a new domestic rights-cycle begins. Pay-television broadcaster BT Sport will broadcast 52 matches per season and tech company Amazon will broadcast 20. Sky’s new deal will allow it to show in-game goals and clips on mobile devices from its own live matches and all other non-televised matches excluding Saturday 15:00 kick-offs (clips will be available from 17:15 for these matches). The deal also includes extended highlights and on-demand rights to be shown on the “Game of the Day” and “Match Choice” programmes.

Sky currently hold near-live rights, from 2016-17 to 2018-19. It was the first time the Premier League included video-on-demand clips in the package.
From 2019-20, public-service broadcaster the BBC will continue to broadcast Premier League highlights after renewing rights in a three-season deal over the same period.

BBC Scotland and Premier Sports to share Scottish Cup rights

Pay-television broadcaster Premier Sports will replace rival Sky to broadcast the Scottish Cup alongside BBC Scotland for the next six seasons, from 2018-19 to 2023-24. The Scottish Football Association has also announced a six-season deal with the IMG agency that will enable to agency to market the Scottish Cup’s international rights.

From 2019-20, BBC Scotland will cover one live match in the first three rounds of the Scottish Cup, whilst both broadcasters will cover two exclusive live matches each from rounds four to six. Premier Sports will broadcast one semi-match exclusively but will share coverage of the other, and the final, with BBC Scotland.
Sky has held Scottish Cup rights alongside BBC Scotland for the past four seasons, from 2014-15 to 2017-18. Sky’s deal included rights to friendly matches of the Scottish national team and Scottish FA Youth Cup.

The international deal with IMG includes all live, betting, archive and digital clips rights.
The deals have been announced when the Scottish Professional Football League are in negotiations for its own domestic media rights. It launched a tender from 2020-21 on October 1. Sky currently share rights with pay-television broadcast BT Sport in three-season deals, from 2017-18 to 2019-20.
