Xrandr si dual monitors

Va chinuiti prea mult cu xrandr direct. Eu generez scriptul cu arandr, apoi doar il execut din .xinitrc.

Problema e ca am o rezolutie prea mica si trebuie sa folosesc TeamViewer. In momentul de fata am 1024x768. Am pus un dummy vga plug in speranta ca pot seta fara alte artificii rezolutia pe care o doresc (1920x1080) dar nu reusesc. Am gasit ca pot pune o rezolutie cu xrandr. Am gasit si un script care face treaba asta si functioneaza perfect pentru ce vreau eu. Insa trebuie sa fac de mana ori de cate ori se reseteaza unitatea. Unde ar trebui (sau cum, mai precis) sa rulez scriptul? Comanda din terminal are forma: ./xar.sh 1920 1080 60 As vrea sa rulez comanda asta la initializare insa nu cred ca o pot face in modul clasic pentru ca am nevoie de activarea desktop-ului. Ma gandesc ca cel mai bine e dupa login sau inainte dar nu stiu unde sa adaug linia respectiva. Am mai gasit eu ceva topice in engleza dar nu prea corespunde structura cu ce scrie acolo. Nu's foarte experimentat cu Linux, abia incep sa ma familiarizez. Folosesc Lubuntu 18.04. Multumiri ! |

1. Adaugi comanda in ~/.profile sau ~/.bash_profile, parca Debian si copiii folosesc ~/.profile si o sa ruleze acea comanda de fiecare data cand porneste bash / dash. Ca sa nu ruleze de fiecare data poti folosi un test sa vezi daca rezolutia este setata sa nu o mai seteze a doua oara;
2. Pui scriptul in /etc/profile.d si va fi rulat automat pentru toti utilizatorii de pe acea masina. Vezi in poza de mai jos un test facut de mine, am modificat ~/.bash_profile si se vede ca functioneaza ce vrei tu. In poza se vede in cele 2 terminale din partea de jos ca a rulat comanda scrisa in ~/.bash_profile, prima linie din terminal arata n mesaj de la scriptul meu cum ca MAC-ul furnizat nu a fost gasit la cautare, nu mai stau sa fac poza cu telefonul ca sa se vada ca functioneaza si in consola. Am incercat sa adaug in./profile care arata mai mult ca un script cu if-uri.
Dupa reboot m-am trezit ca nu ma mai pot loga. Sunt intr-o bucla de loop acum. Nu functioneaza screen-ul corect (pun datele corect si fac login / logoff imediat). Nu mai apare Desktop-ul. Daca fac CTRL+ALT+F1 (sau F3) apare prompt-ul de login. Pun datele si raman tot in loop si aici. Face login/ logoff imediat. Am intrat in recovery, am sters tot ce am modificat si face la fel. E login loop indiferent ca fac din ecran sau din cli. |

Chiar si SSH-ul se inchide automat dupa ce pun datele de conectare.

?!? Ce ai pus mai exact in acel fisier? Intra in recovery si vezi ce iti zice in log-uri.

Am copiat scriptul meu in /etc/profile.d. Problema era ca scriptul are nevoie de argumente si nu erau puse. Quote 2. Renunta la parametrii aia. Hardcodeaza-i ca sa nu ii mai trimiti catre script ca argumente in linie de comanda. Sau in crontab adaugi scriptul sa fie rulat odata la boot si gata ai rezolvat problema.
