Cum pot "citi" din event log daca am avut power faillure?

Uite ca nu stiu chestia asta simpla.
Se poate citi din event log (win2003) daca am avut o cadere de tensiune?

ai vreun UPS cu ceva soft, in stare sa scrie asemenea evenimente in log?

daca nu, nu prea ai ce sa gasesti prin log. doar urme ale unui restart (servicii repornite, chestii d'astea)

In event log nu vezi clar daca ai avut cadere de tensiune. "The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly." Cauti ceva de genul administrative tools in control panel, selectezi event viewer si verifica in system de CRITICAL ai.

Ok, am inteles si multumesc.


De cand am avut niste mari conflicte intre windows si un update de la softul ups-ului, nu mai instalez soft ups pe server.

    * Event 6005 is logged at boot time noting that the Event Log service was started. It gives the message "The Event log service was started".
    * Event 6006 is logged as a clean shutdown. It gives the message "The Event log service was stopped".
    * Event 6008 is logged as a dirty shutdown. It gives the message "The previous system shutdown at time on date was unexpected".
    * Event 6009 is logged during every boot and indicates the operating system version, build number, service pack level, and other pertinent information about the system. Depending on your current configuration, it gives a message similar to: "Microsoft ® Windows NT 4.0 1381 Service Pack 6 Multiprocessor free".

These event IDs are logged for informational purposes only.

Sa vad daca le gasesc in log.

dar nu ai nici o garantie ca mesajele respective sunt cauzate de o cadere de tensiune
