zaharul rafinat omoara cateva milioane de cetateni ai acestei planete in fiecare an ! ...
s-a gasit un inlocuitor natural care insa este destul de greu de promovat pe piata, datorita in primul rand celor care controleza piata "zaharului si inlocuitoriilor acestuia" ! https://es.wikipedia...evia_rebaudiana Edited by abubue, 31 January 2016 - 12:53. |

Zaharul e baza energetica a organismului, prelucrat in burta sub forma de glucoza evident.

Doar a amenintat?

... http://www.europarl....3/1015893en.pdf EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT 2009 - 2014 Committee on Petitions 19.12.2013 NOTICE TO MEMBERS Subject: Petition 0041/2013 by Jos Eisberg (German) on the approval of stevia 1. Summary of petition The petitioner calls for the approval of the plant Stevia Rebaudiana Bertoni as a sweetener for foodstuffs. The petitioner points out that unlike other sweeteners (for example, aspartame), stevia has no harmful side-effects. The sweetener even has beneficial effects on the body. The petitioner believes that the pharmaceutical industry and the sugar lobby are behind the European ban on stevia. The petitioner wonders whether it is justified to prohibit the consumption of a plant with a positive effect on humans and at the same time allow artificial chemical sweeteners which are demonstrably harmful. 2. Admissibility Declared admissible on 11 September 2013. Information requested from Commission under Rule 202(6). 3. Commission reply, received on 19 December 2013 Stevia is a genus of about 240 species of herbs and shrubs in the sunflower family (Asteraceae), native to subtropical and tropical South America and Central America. The species Stevia rebaudiana Bertoni, commonly known as sweetleaf, sweet leaf, sugarleaf, or simply stevia, is widely grown for its sweet leaves. The leaves of the stevia plant have 30–45 times the sweetness of sucrose (ordinary table sugar). As a sweetener and sugar substitute, stevia's taste has a slower onset and longer duration than that of sugar, although some of its extracts may have a bitter or licorice-like aftertaste at high concentrations. The petitioner calls for the approval of Stevia rebaudiana Bertoni as a sweetener. In this context it needs to be reiterated that steviol glycosides, i.e. the highly intensive sweetening substance isolated from the leaves of the stevia plant has in its purified form been evaluated by EFSA as safe. As a result steviol glycosides (E 960) are authorised as sweetener in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1333/2008 of the European Parliament and of the Council on food additives . Stevia rebaudiana Bertoni (plants and dried leaves) is a novel food in the sense of Regulation (EC) No 258/97 on novel foods as it has not been used for human consumption to a significant degree within the European Union before the entry into force of that Regulation. In Decision 2000/196/EC , the Commission decided that Stevia rebaudiana Bertoni: plants and dried leaves may not be placed on the Community market as food or food ingredient. That decision was taken following the request of a Belgium applicant to whom the decision is addressed. This Decision was based on the initial assessment by Belgium and of the additional assessment by the Scientific Committee on Food (SCF) . SCF concluded that the data provided by the applicant was not sufficient to support the safe use of these products as ingredients in food. The German competent authority for novel foods, the Federal Office of Consumer Protection and Food Safety (BVL), accepted a new application for use of Stevia rebaudiana plants and dried leaves as food or food ingredient under Article 4 of Regulation (EC) No 258/97 from the applicant EUSTAS (European Stevia Association) on 10 August 2007. According to the BVL the data provided by the applicant was insufficient to prove the safety. At the specific request of the applicant to the BVL, the evaluation has been on-hold since then. Finally, it is to be noted that in contrast to what the petitioner seems to assume the Commission is not empowered to authorise the marketing of Stevia rebaudiana plants and dried leaves on its own initiative. Conclusion The Steviol glycosides (purified) contained in the Stevia rebaudiana Bertoni is already authorised as sweetener (food additive E 960). Regarding Novel Food, the initial risk assessment of a novel food is the responsibility of the Member States food assessment bodies. However, the Commission has enquired on the advancement of the on-going work and on the timing of the possible conclusion of the work and has been informed that the applicant requested the German Authority (BVL) to keep the evaluation on hold. No other food business operator has made an application to put Stevia rebaudiana Bertoni as a food on the EU market.
(off the records - albinele prefera invertitul) |
