Buna ziua!
Cerinta :
"You are studying at a college in Britain and are the student representative on the Health & Safety Committee. Recently the principal launched a campaign against litter in the college. She organised a Clean-Up Day and introduced some new policies to help keep the college clean. Since then , the editor of the student newspaper has asked you to write an article for the paper describing what happened on Clean-Up Day and outlining the response to the principal's policies.
Read the email from the editor , the poster about the Clean-Up Day and your own notes about the campaign. Then, using the information appropriately , write the article (approximately 250 words). You should use your own words as far as possible.

From : Tim Hardy (Editor of the College Newspaper)
To :Student Representative , Health & Safety Committee
Subject :Clean-Up Day campign
It seems that the Clean-Up Day last Saturday was a great success. We're been arguing for ages that something should be done about the mess around the college and you may remember that we published extracts from your committee's report which argued that everyone was to blame.
Do you think you could write an article for the college newspaper saying what happened on Clean-Up Day and what the effect has been? Also say :
-what the principal's most popular new policy is;
-which of her measures are unpopular (if any).
Many thanks.

CLEAN-UP DAY - VOLUNTEERS NEEDED !
Help us:
-clean up the college - rubbish bags and rubber gloves provided!
-distribute leaflets about how to keep our college clean!
FREE BUFFET SUPPER FOR ALL VOLUNTEERS !
[notes]
Successes:
-Clean-Up Day- people feel more positive about a clean college
-Extra bins- encourage people not to drop litter on the ground
-No smoking- most popular policy- even smokers hated seeing cigarette ends everywhere!
Failures:
-Leaflets- only led to more litter being dropped!
Fines for dropping litter - far too high - will never work."
Are you satisfied whit the appearance of our college?I can't guess your answer,
but I am convicted that ,for some time , the principal -Mary Anthony has been
concerned about the mess around the college.
The students representative on the Health & Safety Committee suggest that the
best way for reduce littter around the college and for keeping our environment clean
and health is a big campaign. So Mary organised a Clean-Up Day and
introduced some new policies.
Multumesc anticipat , desi imi este greu sa cred ca , dupa ce am rugat atati oameni(?) sa ma ajute, o va face cineva azi.
