Kindle Fire este prima tabletă făcută de Amazon, după succesul imens pe care l-au avut ebook readerele lor din seria Kindle. Fire se vinde momentan doar în SUA, fiind unul dintre cele mai dorite produse ale momentului cu milioane de precomenzi.

Specificaţii: touchscreen color de 7 inci, 16 milioane de culori, rezoluţie 1024 x 600 pixeli; rulează Android cu o interfaţă puternic adaptată de Amazon pentru serviciile lor; procesor dual-core, stocare internă 8 GB (mii de cărţi, cântece, aplicaţii, jocuri), conectivitate Wifi; bateria tine aproximativ 8 ore de citit cu wifi oprit; conector microUSB şi jack audio; 190 x 120 x 11,4 milimetri şi 413 grame greutate.

CONSTRUCŢIE
Kindle Fire este o tabletă solidă. Pentru o tabletă care aproape sigur o cumperi şi pentru funcţia ei de ebook reader este exact cum trebuie. Grosimea sporită şi marginea din jurul ecranului sunt tocmai bune pentru a ţine bine Fire-ul în mână atunci când citeşti.
Singurul buton al tabletei este pe latura de jos, unul mic şi rotund care aprinde şi stinge ecranul. Lângă el se află conectorul microUSB, lângă acesta jack-ul audio.

Ecranul este de bună calitate, în culori vii.
Ecranul este lăudat de Amazon ca fiind foarte rezistent la lovituri şi zgârieturi. Puteti viziona teste de rezistenta pe youtube.
